  1. My main grip re: tags is I can't tell what a checkmark means: does it mean "show these files" or "exclude these files"?
  2. This has been said before, I'm sure, but for what it's worth- why does "modern" mean "90-degree angles replace curves"? I like how the "old" Nexus looks, with its pill-shaped buttons at the top of the screen. Microsoft already did away with curves in Windows; hope Nexus doesn't go the same way.
  3. Thanks for the reality check, Moto. :) It isn't much, but I'll throw in my two coppers. I buy games from Steam and, when possible, from GOG because I'd rather not have to run a client. (Even Undertale is available on GOG now!) Except in the event of a fire at HQ, that means I don't need to worry about losing a game. So *looking at you, Electronic Arts* why isn't Return of the King available to download? Seriously- it's a 3-disc game- guaranteed lost or your money back (not).
  4. Does anyone know what level of compression Morrowind's .dds files use?
  5. In response to post #25577504. #25951714 is also a reply to the same post. Thanks...
  6. The Morrowind Graphics Extender doesn't have screenshots? That's weird.
  7. I hear you, Roadrunner. Tell you what, I'll look around and see what's available.
  8. In response to post #2055284. #8129299 is also a reply to the same post. I agree. Personally I've always felt it odd that certain clothes in Oblivion make Argonian women look well-endowed.
  9. Seriously- it's bad manners to create a new-texture or race mod and not upload screenshots.
  10. Allow me to suggest Think to Yourself. It changes many of the second-person notifications (you've harvested Aloe Vera) to first-person (I've harvested Aloe Vera.) A great mod for immersion; my only regret is that it can't be used on the Xbox version of Oblivion.
  11. I think it could be something to do with animations. Maybe Bethesda never figured out how to animate snakes?
  12. So we've seen how in both Oblivion and Skyrim, the developers destroyed a town and left it for modders to rebuild. I wonder if this will become an Elder Scrolls tradition, or if Bethesda will rebuild the town in the next game?
  13. If you're looking for a break from the rigors of combat and exploration, I suggest Auriel's Retreat. It offers a beautiful, safe environment for you to take in the sights.
  14. So to be clear, does this mean I cannot use any controller brand with Oblivion except for Microsoft?
  15. Just remember that Oblivion uses standard body meshes for all rights. There might be a mod to fix this, but...
  16. Now I'm curious. Within reason, could we use the Nexus to upload full games? For instance, could I put up my RPG Maker projects when they're finished?
  17. Did you activate your mods in NMM? If you downloaded anything with it, you've got to click on the 'Mods' tab and activate it.
  18. Not being able to persuade everyone is kinda lame too...
  19. Hello, Nexus. I have a small request for a weapon mod. Could someone create a sword modeled on the one depicted on the Riften guards' shields? Its stats should be about the same as a plain steel sword. Thanks in advance to whoever responds.
  20. That's one of my favorite things about Morrowind. I don't know how it can be done in Skyrim. However, if you're looking to learn how to use the Creation Kit I'd suggest you check out the Enclave at http://tesalliance.org Tell 'em Tiger sent you. :)
  21. Yep! I actually have the Vaalsark mod. It's good; now to learn modeling so I can make them more wolf-like.
  22. I don't mind. Here you go: http://tesalliance.org/forums/
