ilawana
So I have a friend who wants to play skyrim, but his parents won't let him because the bodies are too realistic. So i was wondering if someone could retexture the female bodies to look less realistic. The female bodies just need to look like the bodies from oblivion. So if someone could help it would be very much appreciated. And it just has to be the body not the entire character. Also if someone could make a mod that changes the underwear to cover the entire chest and also the stomach and down to the knees I think that would be fine. Thanks. Boombro
That is not how it works. Yes, underwear is part of the body texture. But armors have there own body meshes pack with them. Example:Let say a bandit is wearing a whole body wool underwear. Then he wears fur skirt armor, his chest, arms and legs will be bare.I mean strip your female in-game, she has underwear on right? I mean let say bra straps. Can you see bra straps your female PC when has a fur, hide or studded armor on? No, she does not. I can already test this with a skimpy armor and SFW version of unp and I'm right. Of course, a more modest underwear can be made for looting and stuff. What the difference between Skyrim females and oblivion females anyways?
ilawana
I don't know the difference, like I said it is my friend is the one who wants this. I understand exactly what you're saying and that said he still wants the bodies retextured. Seeming how it doesn't change the armor and stuff he would also need a less reveling armor mod. So if you know of a less reveling female armor mods then could you give me a link? If there are any mods that make less reveling underwear than we wouldn't need a body retex. My friend only needs the female armor and clothing sets changed not the male. If he could keep most of the body covered then I think he would be able to play it without have to retexture the body. ilawana
Are those names of mods?
ilawana
Ok I looked up the mods and my friend like the first one but he didn't like how it changes the overall clothing. He just wants the underwear and armor changed to be more conservative. As for the Practical armor mod he liked it except for the fact that it removed the breast plate for a chest plate and also makes them look very disproportionate. So is there a way to fix those problems? Or are there any more mods?
Boombro
That realistic. Women armor in history looked like this (skipping medical nerdy stuff here) boob plate will kill them and it in fact the one that disproportionate. Women also can fit in many male armors since male armor has a wide chest area. Also, isn't that what he looking for? I mean modest skyrim removes the very skin showing fur armor with other stuff. Shivala
If I remember, underwear is just a texture which you can edit in Photoshop, so just paint more underwear with the clone tool. Deadly trio mod has a great female armor that is both practical, supremely 'modest' and could be realistic (not the helmet though)
