taking only certain meshes and textures from a mod

sorry if I am asking this in the wrong page :).

There are a lot of mods I want for the clothes only, I downloaded a house mod but I don't want the house only the clothes that come with it. I put the clothes in a box using the CS, but when I go to grab them for my character in the game the clothes show up invisible with black lines everywhere shooting into space (missing texture?). Am I supposed to put the clothing meshes and textures in a specific way in my data folder? Because I renamed the folders for the clothes so I would not be confused, and I made new clothes in the construction set using the textures and meshes from the house mod, but in game the only thing working is icons. :( Hope this makes sense I'm not good with English, and sorry If I am asking in the wrong place. Can someone help me only have clothes from the house+clothes mod?

If you change the name of the texture folder you also have to change the path in Nifskope of the mesh itself. The paths are set there also according to the location of the texture folder so that may be the issue. :)

Actually, your English is up to par, perhaps even better than some native speakers!

Anyways, the meshes with black lines sound like a problem with the skin partitions - If you import and export in Blender it might solve the problem, or you could try remaking the skin partitions for the mesh through right-clicking each affected mesh in the viewer and go to Mesh -> Make Skin Partition.

This tip helps a lot, I am not that good with mods but I try. This tip will help me with a lot of other mods as well.
