Create-A-Race

Well, my modding quest is going quite well so far. I've created a race, given it it's own special spells, added it to the game, planning to make some npc's of it's race and adding them to a small camp and well...that's about it for right now.

 

ANYWAYS.

 

I would LOVE to do all this HOWEVER the emperor refuses to escape through the sewers and the dark elf who is later...uhm...ya know.... refuses to talk to me (I wouldn't piss off this race either :P) and thus, I am stuck in jail forever (BEST RPG GAME EVER! JAILBIRD! =D)

 

 

So if anyone can help me bust outta jail, that'd be great-o. And if it involves making the dark-elf a script to talk to me about...All the more fun =D.

 

So yeah, can someone tell me what to do...Step-By-Step would be the bestest, or provide a screenshot of a script example and where to find it etc would also be awesome.

There's no condition for triggering that dark elf's dialogue if you're playing custom race. To fix the problem, you will need either KT Custom Race Fix or Unofficial Oblivion Patch, though I recommend you the latter.

Good timing, I just downloaded Kt's custom race fix...Shame I can't figure out how to add my own dialogue for him to say about my race ;D.

As already stated, if you install the UOP, which everybody should, you do not need KT race fix.
