palnm Posted January 15, 2011 Share Posted January 15, 2011 I finished installing my first round of mods, that seem to all be compatible with each other. However, I recently ran into a problem in missing meshes. Specifically, I found the mesh to be a "Water Rat." I saw the yellow notification when in zone 1 of the Elven Garden Sewers in the "Path of Dawn" quest. This is not the first time I have run into a missing mesh. A while back near the river surrounding the Imperial City, just north of Weye, was a small bright yellow dot, soon after seeing this dot I CTD. This is very similar to what is happening now, I see the yellow notification, I CTD when the model is engaged, I can not load save which has missing mesh. At least now I have deduced that this particular missing mesh is a water rat. Is there any way I can download a Mesh Fix? I have already tried reinstalling Francesco's Leveled Creatures (No Effect, same with deactivating). Hickory Posted January 15, 2011 Share Posted January 15, 2011 A missing mesh means a mod is not installed correctly, or has been overwritten by another mod. You need to discern which mod the missing mesh comes from. Use FormID Finder (requires OBSE 18 or newer), identify the mesh, then uninstall and reinstall the mod it comes from. Striker879 Posted May 13, 2015 Share Posted May 13, 2015 Have you done anything in the past that would alter the vanilla game BSA files (i.e. Oblivion - Meshes.bsa)?
