Did anyone ever manage to make a party walk toggle mod?

Hey all, I've been away for almost a year and was about to load up Dragon Age again, and I was really hoping someone finally found a way to toggle walk mode for all the part members instead of just the main player, but I don't seem to see anything in my google searches.

I heard that this is still going to be a problem in Dragon Age 2 as well,...

I am about to give up, but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask the mod community itself one last time.

Ah. I guess it's never going to happen. Pathing issues or something.

It's a shame, Dragon Age is one of those games that let's me feel like I am living inside of a fantasy novel. Except, I can't walk down a country road with a party of adventures. Either I walk while they wait for me to give the go ahead, and they jog behind me like some Monty Python skit, or,... Eh.

I fourth this. I hate how your party runs behind you then stops and runs again its very distracting having them pop into your field of view all the time. In fact due to this and other annoyances Ive decided Im not going to buy a bioware game for the foreseeable future. They have just gone to far down the develop for consoles/ lowest common denominator route. Thank god bethedsa and a few other developers eg CD Projekt RED (witcher) still make deep, engrossing and realistic games.

lol bioware dont seem to understand the world roleplay. What warrior in his right mind runs all day. dont ya think he might be too tired to fight !

This movement behaviour of the followers is handled by the Eclipse game engine directly, and has (so far) proven to be un-moddable. There is (perhaps) an adjustable setting for how far away from the "currently controlled character" the rest of the party is allowed to get, (when they aren't being told to "Hold") before they all "hurry to catch-up", but otherwise their exploring actions are fixed: "Wait in-place until distance limit is reached, then run until within nearness limit."
