ricepuffis
Hello to all :) I have a problem with my mods for Oblivion IV, they do not work, at all. The game does not even show a single sign that the mods are installed. I installed the mods manually at first and then using the Oblivion Mod Manager. Neither worked and I have no idea why. Being from a non english speaking land long explenations bore me and give me a headache, and being a complete and utter noob at computers means I suck at technical stuff! Could some saint-like soul please explain simple and short what I have done wrong and how to fix it? Thank you :D
Hickory
Uninstall Oblivion and reinstall it outside of the protected 'Program Files' folder structure. Somewhere like C:\Games\Oblivion\ Is that short enough?

SandsOfTime404
Reinstalled game as said above and reinstalled mods with mod manager, still not working :( Then you are not installing the mods correctly. This, or the mods you are using aren't any good. Also make sure you removed the mods from the first time around. I know that simply uninstalling Oblivion does not remove my mods. Those I have to go back and delete manually. Therefore, if you never got rid of the mods, the same issues are going to keep arising. I also suggest that you place the mods back in one at a time, and test the game after each one. That's a pretty stupid-proof way I use to see what mod is deciding to make things suck.
