i would like to request someone to clean the girls up please

the feinds, khans, and raider girls are way too filthy IMO and yes they shouldnt be all fresh n clean but they also shouldnt look like they sleep in mud pits either

it would be nice if a much less dirty looking dirty look was used for the dirty girls & guys too for that matter

i also dont understand why there are so many bald chicks with hairdos that look like wings sticking out of their heads but thats just me lol

To be honest the look of people in fallout is quite Lore friendly.

Considering, gee, a nuke war.

Thats a pin-point cause for hair loss, as for sleeping in `mud pits` - try sleeping outside and having the elements do battle with you everyday.

Water is considered as valuble to people in the wastes as we consider money now.

Plus the fact a lot of the water out there is iradeated just means its plain nasty stuff to be drinking.

If I see a fiend strolling across to shoot me wearing a clean white ball gown, and looking stunning, I would know im playing the wrong game.

- protip - killing raiders that are unclean feels a lot better then killing raiders that are clean xD

im not asking for clean people, far from it, just a dusty dirty look instead of splotchy mud smeared and covered in soot look

as for the after nuke war, its been so long that reasonable levels of hygene should be in use for buildings and water sources (if you drink it you may as well clean up with it too)

looking like they were burt in a fire or something is a bit stretching the "filthy wasteland" a bit too far IMO

even if no water is used for cleanup (which i agree fits the storyline for when you are out in the wasteland) then the sweat and clothes they wear would be enough to wipe off most of that grim so a dusty dirty look would be more real then looking the way they do

This mod has a file that provides clean raider skins.

Yes but that makes them as clean as the people living in civilized areas. The dirty files in that mod are even dirtier than the ones in the default game so that's a no go either. I know what the OP means even though I prefer them dirty to clean. They're a rough bunch and they should be dirty.

Try this one for cleaner but still dirty Raiders.

thank you,

that looks like what i was looking for but im no modder so i have no clue how to use a group of dds files with no folder or filepath descriptions as to where to put them. it looks more like something you might add to another mod then a mod of its own.

it says things like "unzip and put the 'raiderfemale' folder in Fallout 3\Data\textures\characters" and there is no 'raiderfemale' folder in the game or the mod file so either this is a "Fallout 3 Only" mod that hasnt been ported over yet or its a mod for "experienced mooders only"

the mod description story (which WAS interesting) was just that, a story and not any kind of detailed description of how to install and use the mod.
