Blaithnaid
As said in the title, I'm new to Morrowind. I want to install the Morrowind Code Patch (And maybe some other mods, I haven't decided yet) but can't, because my copy isn't the GOTY version nor do I have the needed DLCs (by which I mean Tribunal & Bloodmoon) for many of the mods. I don't want to pirate the DLC, but I can't see any other way (Other than ordering each separate DLC or buying a new copy of the game)! Dragon32
Do you mean the Tribunal and Bloodmoon expansions? Most mods have those two as a requirement because the mod uses resources (textures, meshes etc.) from the expansions, or the mod could use one of the new scripting functions added by the expansions. Without them the mod won't work. Similarly with MCP, installing Tribunal or Bloodmoon changes the morrowind.exe. MCP patches morrowind.exe and will only patch the latest version (1.6.1820)

Blaithnaid
Going to bump this because I can't really figure out what to do, not sure if I should try OpenMW or not.
Dragon32
You need the expansions to run the Morrowind Code Patch (EXE needs to be patched to 1.6.1820, not sure if you could get by with just Bloodmoon and its patch) and most mods (use expansions' assets and scripting functions). Not all mods need the expansions though. You can pick the GoTY edition up pretty cheap these days (it's an old game). You could (I think) use OpenMW with just Morrowind.esm. You would still run into the problem of using other mods though.
razorpony
Pretty sure the Steam summer sale will be soon. I heard rumors of a June 11 start date. Should be able to get the GOTY edition for 10 bucks or less then.
