CrayolaColours
Right now I'm using a GeForce 210, which is my only concern, at the moment. I'm pretty sure I could run Skyrim with it, but right now I'm looking for a graphics card that wont be too much money, but will let me get by with a decent experience. NAPALM13092
Build I am planning on. What is this overkill you speak of? skullsy
On my Alienware M15x with ATI 5850 GDDR5 I can play any game currently on the market at max settings (this includes Crysis, mind you). The only game I've heard was really GPU taxing that I haven't played yet is Metro 2033, so hopefully Skyrim won't be too big of a technological leap, though I doubt it will be without the help of modders, due to the cross-system platforms (yes I'm pointing at you xbox 360 and PS3). Draco856
I intend on getting a new computer, at first it was because my vid card is failing as it no longer wants to run games like Two Worlds 2, or the Catalyst Control Center that I use to adjust both game settings and my screen brightness. Even though I'm still not even sure if I'm getting the right parts for it all cause this will be the first computer I've ever gotten that wasn't an All-In-One PC from a big company. It won't be just for Skyrim, but it is a big factor in what I want the computer to do.
