HeroReforged
Hi all, this is my first post so be nice huh?First of all, may I say a big thank you to all you mod makers out there. I’v had hours of fun learning from you.My question is this, is there any way to incorporate some sort of recognition in to the game, where by the characters you talk/fight with see you as you are.I’ve been experimenting with quite a few characters and it seems that what ever you wear is of no consequence to them or the game itself. If you wear a pair of iron boots and nothing else, your armour rating stills goes up. All-be it a little faster than if in full armour. The only time I’ve come across any thing that comes close to this, is trying to get into the castle to cast the nude spell at the countess, where by you can dress nicely to get in.Example being, ‘Oh my god lady, nice breasts but please cover yourself.’Or, ‘In that much armour, you’re going to die very quickly.’Am I expecting too much or is there yet another very cleaver nod maker out there? majikmonkee
I totally agree with you on this. It's lame that you can run around in your dirty undergarments in the middle of town, and people act like nothing inappropriate is going on. I was doing some file maintenence the other day and moved some folders where I shouldn't have, and the result was all of my BAB clothes and undergarments going invisible. So there was Corrine, standing in the middle of the Market District in her birthday suit, where I'd left her just before my last save (tasteful but nonetheless nude example below): http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f162/majikmonkee1975/ScreenShot2-1.jpg The guard standing there said "You have my ear, citizen." What he SHOULD have said is "Good god, lady, put some clothes on, or I'll have you arrested!" It's no fun to break the rules when nobody cares... Edited January 28, 2011 by majikmonkee
LFact
- One problem is, the NPCs do not have 'eyes'. If you're using body replacer with underwear, they may yell at you 'wear something!' when your actor wears nothing, but when you're using wearable body parts, NPCs may not recognize that you're naked now(because you're wearing something technically). majikmonkee
True. It's an interesting idea but I don't expect anyone to try to change the clothing recognition system, it sounds like a lot of work.
HeroReforged
Thanks for the reply lads/lasses, there is one part of script that might come close and that's the part when you go to the arena and take off your raiment, you’re told to leave and put it on.But never mind, it was a nice thought, looks like I’ll have to rely on the wife to look over and shout, ‘Hey you, get some clothes on that hussy and cover those pixels.’

There is a Clothing Enforcer mod here on TESNexus. Cover Yourself does exactly what you ask. It assigns some penalties if you roam unclothed around NPCs, and different types (and genders) of NPCs will have varying.. *cough*.. reactions. :whistling:
majikmonkee
No more shameless streaking through the Imperial City? No more dancing naked on the council chamber table? Nooooo!
Megatarius
Cover yourself is a great mod, but it's incompatible not only with clothing items that contain nude meshes, but also with Reneer's Guard Overhaul. If you use them together, the guard will just run up and talk to you when you're nude, not confront you. I forget if load order fixes it though. Also, another problem with it is, the highwaymen just flirt with you instead of robbing you. This can be a good thing, and doesn't really ruin the game since they're easy as sin anyway.
majikmonkee
Well, most highway men probably assume nude people aren't carrying anything anyway, so may as well just strike up a conversation instead of sticking them up.
