UttaNutta
Okay. I was using the Flyable Vertibird Mod when it froze, and crashed. So, I restarted, and now when I try to launch New Vegas, it comes up with either: Fallout: New Vegas failed to start (error code 80) when I start it through steam, and: Application Load Error P:0000065432 when I try through FOMM. So, does anyone know a solution?
asdfzxc
Are you using the latest version of NVSE?
UttaNutta
Not sure. I'm running it and FOMM, but I'm not sure if it auto updates. But I tried running through steam with no mods, still not working.
Iv000
But I tried running through steam with no mods, still not working. When it crashed it probably corrupted the fallout.ini.Go to "My Documents > My Games > FalloutNV" (Make a backup of them first) and delete ONLY the fallout.ini and falloutprefs.ini.Then start New Vegas again, and it should detect your hardware again. Try to start it now.If that doesn't work try deleting the data folder and let steam re-download it.
UttaNutta
Yeah, I just realized that. Sort of. I updates NVSE, then it said no fallout.ini, but FOMM launched, and so did New Vegas, resetting my settings. I THINK it's working now. Wait, no. Now, when I try to start, it just goes onto the loading screen, but says it has to close due to an error. I can't find any .ini files though. That might be it. So, I'm gonna try Validating Steam files. That might put them back. Wait, no. Damn. Okay. Gonna re-download. UttaNutta
Okay. I deleted the Data folder, re-downloaded it, and installed my mods back on, this time, only with mods that I use and want, and need for my saves to work. However, with the mods, it still has the same problem, which is crap, as I need the mods for the save files. Then I looked, and, I'm absolutely sure there is no .ini files, whatsoever. And they don't re-download. So.... How can I get them? Can someone send me them or something? Please, I think this is the problem.
bben46
Sending you some one elses ini files won't help as the ini is set up for your particular hardware. Have you changed any hardware?
UttaNutta
s***. I was hoping it wasn't unique. No, I haven't. Not that I can remember, and certainly not recently. Damn.
asdfzxc
Best thing to do is back up your Data and Save folders, uninstall, then reinstall.
