WHITELION1284
So I'd like to disable both autodraw and autosheathing. This particular mechanic fails so often and drives me absolutely crazy while playing. I'd also like to attach the combat state and exploration state to whether or not Geralt has his sword drawn. That way I can parry/dodge/roll and deal with ranged attacks when the game would normally have Geralt in exploration state, and conversely be able to jump/climb and open doors when Geralt is under attack, thus enabling a change of battleground. So to me this seems like a necessary (even obvious) change and I'm willing to do it myself. There's only one problem: I have no idea how to make it happen. So if anyone has the patience and inclination to help me mod the game I am an eager and willing pupil. Thanks so much. Cheers.
MotoSxorpio
Really depends on what mods you have. Some mods are completely geared towards what you do not want. Post load order, Mod List etc for more detailed help.
WHITELION1284
What are you talking about?I'm playing an unmodded copy of Witcher 3 and trying to create a new mod. I'm hoping that I can edit a flag in an XML file somewhere but if I have to go deeper than that I will. I'm hoping that someone can help me determine how/if this can be done. DemonMajor
If you're looking to mod the game, this tutorial explains the basics: http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/14/? . I personally haven't come across anything that deals with the necessary mechanics, but I haven't exactly looked for it specifically. Maybe you'll be the one to find it. If you have any questions about modding in more detail, feel free to send me a message, or post on the discussion thread of the tutorial I linked.
