JimboUK
It's the same as Skyrim, the extender is called NVSE and you'll need to enable 4GB or you'll be seeing a lot of your desktop. http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/55061/?

MontyPython55
You need the following:A nexus account (done)NMM/FOMM/game through Steam (I use FOMM, but I am working on NMM.)7zip First, find a mod you want (FNV4GB, for example. For a mod with ESM/ESP's, try Project Brazil). The vast majority of these will be on the Nexus.Next, go to the download files screen. Now's your choice: either manual (7zip), or automatic (NMM/FOMM (latter only if it's a .fomod)). Manual:If you use 7zip, then it will download, and you hit extract on 7zip (you'll probably have to select 7zip the first few times you download items). You select the proper folder (almost always Fallout: New Vegas/Data), and enable the esm/esp's (if applicable; not all will have them) either through Steam, or a mod manager (NMM/FOMM). This has the benefit of educating you on how your mods affect the game, but is a bit more difficult sometimes. Lastly, you may need to use this if NMM goes down. This I can do a video on if this guide makes no sense (which is probably the case). Automatic:If you use NMM, I can't help you yet. For FOMM, you download the .fomod, go to the button "Package Manager" on the right side (you'll need to sign in to the Nexus). Then, you find the .fomod, and select it. It should do the rest of the work for you. Edited July 1, 2015 by MontyPython55
Rangerjoe1969
You can also go on Youtube and a guy named Gopher has a whole series of how to tutorials on Modding NV, that's how I learned. He even has videos for fixing things you screw up. He covers all the different modding programs and gives the pros and cons. Hope this helps.
