Fallout 4 character customization mod?

Do you think the modding community will make an extremely detailed character customization mod that goes far beyond the default tools to edit your character's behavior?

Will there eventually be custom hairstyles, eyebrows, and whatnot?

Skyrim has the racemenu mod that has a few hundred sliders to adjust small details about your character's appearance. You can also "mold" your character's face using the sculpting tool.

I was hoping that modders wil make a similar mod for fallout 4.

I think they look nice already. People may make some but they will not be a must have and based on taste.

I don't look at them and think the hair is ugly like the one in Skyrim, lips were fill and pink, skin looked detailed, eyes where bright and twinkled, stubble looked fine etc.

Modding it seems harder, race menu was about placing a new item to a slider. For a clay based system, is it even moddable in the first place?

As with FO3, I think any modding along these lines will mainly be either tweaks (such as additional hairstyles and/or eye colours, improved skin textures, etc.) or what I call "novelty" stuff (for people who want to play "unusual" characters - eg. Ghouls,. Elves, Aliens, whatever).

Assuming. of course, that all is as advertised. I am hoping so. But, not to be overly pessimistic, but it could also be that much of the modding community's early efforts will be all about simply making the game playable.

The default character customization that comes with Fallout 4 feels a lot like racemenu for Skyrim. You can sculpt your eyes/eyebrows/jaw/cheeks/cheekbones/forehead/nose/lips/chin and just about every feature on your face just by pointing and clicking and without any sliders whatsoever.

I'm sure that there will be custom eyebrows, eyes, hairstyles, etc.. but the character edit in Fallout 4 is so detailed it may not even be necessary to make a mod further advancing it's features.

Would be nice to save and share presets, though.

I have every confidence that people will find SOMETHING about FO4's chargen process to mod.

Thinking that sharing presets will be probably be a big thing. Given the immense detail of face creation, I can easily see people creating entire libraries of presets of celebs and so forth. You want your character to look like Richard Nixon? Or ScarJo? Or Colonel Sanders? Or..... ? You get the idea.

I've created seven women from the SyFy channel's "ghost hunters" reality television franchise.

They include Kris Williams, Amy Bruni, Susan Slaughter, Ashley Troub, Heathyr Hoffman, Jane Riley, and Michelle Tate.
