Kdaj
Hey ppl I have a small problem in that Hidden Puzzle (as i call it myself) in Pale Pass... I just hope there's someone in here can know what i'm talking about... for those who ain't knew about this i'll tell it... Near the fort of Pale Pass, southeast of the fort (i believe) is there a small pool of frozen water... near the wall there's a barrel... inside there's a rusty key and a note... then when i pick up the rusty chest west of the fort at that ruined tower we find a old key for the old chest (you can find the old chest behind a rock... take the road from the serpent's trail to the fort Pale Pass... almost near the fort we find on the right a small ruined wall (it might reach our knees)... it's the second wall right before the road turns left to reach the fort... there's a rock... it's right behind it...) inside we find a ancient key (i'm not sure about the name but i think it's ancient)... Now... my question is... where's the ancient chest?? i actually found a chest... it's inside the fort but it's unreachable because of that iron gate... we can even try to interage with the gate but nothing happens... i'm stuck in that... what can i do to reach it? (if it is actually the ancient chest of course)... please help... i'm stressing with this :wallbash:

Hickory
All of the chests, including the one inside the fort, are accessible. Don't cheat... work it out. Hint: toggle the grass off, as it's easier to find the chests -- console: tg If you REALLY must cheat (copy/paste from UESP): Frozen Barrel – southeast of the ruined fort in a circle of ice (ESE of the entrance to Mouth of the Serpent). It contains a Rusty Key and a Crumpled Note from some unlucky thief informing you that he hid a magical ring in a chest.Rusty Chest – inside the most western tower, next to the tower with the entrance to Pale Pass Fort. Search carefully to find this chest, as it is hidden by grass and partly buried into ground. Facing the slope leading out of the tower, it is slightly to the left. This chest contains the Old Key.Old Chest – located southeast of the entrance to Mouth of the Serpent. Follow the path south, back towards the Serpent's Trail, past the statues on either side and you will reach a fallen column. Travel in the direction pointed by the column and jump onto the rock at the base of the curved wall you find. The chest is just to the south and contains the Forgotten Key.Forgotten Chest – southwest of the door from the Serpent's Trail through which you first entered Pale Pass. From the door go west up the hill (to the right if you are facing the door), sticking to the natural rock wall that forms the outer edge of the valley. The chest will be in front of an odd rock outcrop shaped like a small "U" which sticks out of the rock wall. In the chest you will find the Circlet of Omnipotence. Hickory
I think he was talking about This Porticullis Gate inside Pale Pass Fort(last line of zone 1 description).Did you really find a way to access that chest without tcl , Hickory ? Spoil me plz  , I'm curious . :) To be honest, I was not even aware of that static portcullis, even though I've completed this quest, and side quest, numerous times. I'm not one to search every nook and cranny, unless I know something is worth looking for. The chests in Pale Pass are not worth the trouble. So no, I have never reached that chest. :)
