I'm running a 6gb Titan black, 17-4790k, 16gb ram, and RealVision ENB kicks my computers ass pretty bad sometimes. I've done several Skyrim game/mod build over a year modding my Skyrim with realvision being the only ENB I used. I do want to give another ENB a try but I like RVenb a lot. I just want to recomend using the less graphically intensive recommended mods on the RV enb page if u use it. I tried all 4k graphics once and I could barely walk around skyrim and marvel at the graphics. As soon as any actual gameplay happened my game started crashing due to too much high res textures etc. Now I have a setup running with almost 250 mods, many intensive, and can play through most of the game. Only the Dragonborn DLC seems broken and I have to advance with console commands through that part of the game.

Try it.

If you don't get a playable frame rate switch off Depth of Field.

 

In the enbseries.ini it will looks like this. EnableDepthOfField=false

 

That gave me an extra 7fps.

 

At the moment I am playing at 46fps average with DoF off with 2k textures at 2560 X 1440 resolution. I have 250+ mods installed. This is with a GTX 980 & a i7 2600k.

Don't run an ENB. Use ENB binaries for speed boost and a Sweet FX preset like ICBINE 3:

You didn't say what you have for VRAM, but if nothing else you should be able to run the performance version. It's the one I use and I generally get anywhere from 45-60 fps, depending on what else is going on on the screen and I have a number of texture mods (all 2K or less) installed. Granted, that is with a totally different video card than yours...

Vram, normally I agree with you but this time, no. If your setup can run an ENB without any lag, why not use one?
