I would be happy to play a mmo TES if its been done by zenimax who really cares as long as bethesda keeps making their single player games that way tes will be tes as far as singler player and there is a option for an mmo.. On note after all the provenances have been done by bethesda what else is there to do besides a mmo? It would be dumb on their part not to try to continue the series after its been finished by the single player experience from a marketing stand point Edited by Bloodinfested

Akavir, Atmora, Cathnoquey, Pyandonea, Roscrea... Just a few suggestions... :whistling:

I think we will all be dead before they finish TES and see it turned into an MMO...at least I hope...

How exactly are you related to Bethesda Softworks again?

ZeniMax Media owns both Bethesda Softworks as well as ZeniMax Online Studios. Bethesda makes AAA console-oriented titles, and ZeniMax Online (us!) makes MMOGs. Because we are all inside the same corporate structure, we share IP and because our offices are only about an hour apart, we can work closely with Bethesda's staff.

*sigh*

The heart of the Elder Scrolls games is exploration. If they do an MMO, they need to have the gameplay centered around this. Quests should never focus on killing x amount of something. The main goal should always be getting from point A to point B and dealing with whatever enemies or traps you find along the way. Quests should grant significantly more experience than killing things, so that simply grinding your way to max level is not effective. It would be cool if the game had dynamically generated quests that sent you to a random locale off in the wilderness to investigate/retrieve/assasinate, etc. And of course, the world would need to be rich and detailed enough that exploration is actually interesting and worthwhile. The only MMO I've ever played that has pulled this off with some amount of success is World of Warcraft. Most MMOs have a very "cardboard" feel to them. Dull, uninteresting, and stiff.

Well, tbh, I'd prefer to just keep playing single player games. I never got into MMOs, though I'd like to see something similar to Guild Wars if they release one in the Elder Scrolls Universe.

I don't use subscription services as a personal rule, so a Guild Wars type model is the only way I'd play it.
