Can this be done? (Use an Arcane Enchanter as a Carpenter's Workbench)

So I am building a house in BYOH style ... Go to the custom Carpenter's Workbench and build the next section. So far so good but at one point I want to add some Magelights like in the Archmage's room in Winterhold. To me this should be done from an Arcane Enchanter table and not a Carpenter's Workbench. Does anyone know how to add a Constructible Object recipe to an Arcane Enchanter? Does anyone have a different way to have magelights enable from an Arcane Enchanter?

I was looking at some of the BYOH stuff and I see they use Magic->Enchantment like BYOHHousePart001Room1LayoutEnch ... any clue as to what they do? I am just wondering if there is a different way to get the end result I am looking for.

Thanks!

Well, you can change the work bench model to that of the enchanting table.

HF crafted house items seems to be linked to specific work tables. If you figure those out, it should be easy to link magic lights to these.

Look up darkfox in youtube, he has building home video ( like build your own home mod.) it may help you.

Thanks Boombro,

I have seen the Darkfox vid and it did help me get as far as I have. The problem is I just don't want the looks of a enchanting table, I want it to be a functioning enchanting table but with one new function/recipe. Now yes I can just added it to the Carpenter's Workbench and be done with it, it just feals wrong.

Thanks again

That what I meant.

You wanted magic lights right? Let say it the candle light spell in an empty lantern. You link those to the work bench of your choice. Just like you did.

You go on and change the model, it will still be a work bench. Not an enchanting table with ability to enchant and disenchant. Just able to make magic lights lanterns.

Sadly you can't have both, Enchanting and Creating Objects are two different bench types. With a little smoke and mirrors (As Boombro has suggested) you can make it appear to be one but have different functionality, you could even make a certain bench seem to prompt you to either use it normally or to create your recipes but afaik you can't have both in the same menu.

Many other ways it could be smoke and mirrored but that depends on the specific way you wish for it to be used and when but it can get pretty complex.
