Vindekarr
Im an old fashioned sort, forget 2012 doomsday-that's only been floating around since 2009, I preffer the classic "WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!" stories. They say that the world will end when the deathdragon, Nidhoggr, who was imprisoned for all eternity and buried alive under the World Tree, wakes from his eternal slumber and takes revenger, biting through the tree's roots and stopping the spring from which all life comes from flowing. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nidhoggr Either that or some stupid oilrig will wake Cthulu and doom us all. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cthulhu Edited February 9, 2011 by Vindekarr
Deleted54170User
I see that the weather is reversing from a hot steaming climate to a cool one.Just like people. I recall that it was said, that the Earth has more than just weather cycles, but drought seasonal changes as well. I have seen it several time's now. The first was when I was young boy, the second when I was a middle aged man, a few floods, winters that made my parens talk about moving back to the west coast, and the this drought we all have been worried of as of late. If Nature takes the usual course Winters will have more snow again, Spring more Rain, and in some area's there will be little reminders through out the season that nature can be harsh depending on where we live. For instance, when I was a young boy, it was the middle of July. After a group discussion between all of us children, playing in the same neighborhood, we all split up went to our prospective house's, got on our swimming suits, and met at the concrete wading pool a mile from where I lived. After we all spent the hottest part of the day at the park wading pool, we started back together to walk back to out meeting place after we left the parents houses. We were half way along when hail fell that was tiny balls barely bigger then be bes and because I was the only one that thought to bring a towel I managed to protect myself from the second wave of stinging pellet's. Then the fight to get under my towel began, after the third, or fourth wave of hail ice my towel was torn from my grip and everyone was fighting over it. I took cover under some big rhubarb leaves. I comfortably waited out the short hail storm while the others ran and were pelted many, many more times because they would not get near the dirty garden plants with all the bugs in the leaves. I have learned there are two kinds of drought's, Dry: like we have all been experiencing lately, and Wet: get out your rain coats, galoshes, and Umbrellas.
