Wolf609
Hi, guys! I've never met any problem with any mod from this site, with my previous install of Skyrim or with this one. But somehow, I managed to conflict some mods, I suppose. The thing is, I have no ideea how to fix this - I've uninstalled and reinstalled some of the mods, but it didn't work, so, since I'm not a magician with the computers I'm now asking for your help. I'm using the Bald head mod, but even with the mod turned off, the problem still persists. Anyway, for some reason, I can't take screenshots in game (I discovered that right now) so I took two photos with my phone. This is how my head looks while in gamehttp://postimg.org/image/khh2wo941/ And this is how my head looks while in showracemenu commandhttp://postimg.org/image/v2zc7bb3j/ This also happens when I equip/unequip any item.I have the drivers up-to-date and I had no problem until now, I've installed some new mods, but...hehe... I can't remember the exact order, if that matters somehow. I've used LOOT after installing them. These are my mods: A quality world map and Solstheim map - with roadsAnimated ProstitutionAOF Detailed Mountains v2_1 1024ApachiiskyHairAuto Unequip AmmoBald HeadBathing Beauties or BeefcakeBathing in SkyrimCBBEChange Follower OutfitsChange Spouse OutfitsCloaks of SkyrimCustom RacesDibellas CompulsionDust EffectsEnhanced Blood TexturesEnhanced Character EditEnhanced Lights and FXEnhanced Night SkyrimEquipping OverhaulFalmer Banes - Ysolda of WhiterunFemale Face preset For Human Orc and MerFences of SkyrimFootprintsFNISGuard Dialogue OverhaulHD Enhanced TerrainHDT Breast and Butt PhysicsHDT Physics ExtensionsHigh Definition IvyHumorous Naked Comments Animated VersionImmersive HUDImmersive MusicImmersive SoundsLanterns of SkyrimMarriable SeranaNatural EyesNatural Grass Texture FloorNo Spinning Death AnimationNudes - FavoredSoulMeshesOptimized Vanilla TexturesProject Reality- Climates of Tamriel v3RaceCompatibility with fixesRealistic Ragollds and ForceRealistic Smoke and EmbersRealistic Water TwoRealistic weapon positionsRS Children OverhaulRuins clutter ImprovedRun for your livesSaadia Redguard CompanionSerana - Remove hoodShowracemenu precache KillerSky falls + sky millsSkyrim HD - 2k Textures - SHD Lite - LandscapeSkyUIStatic mesh improvement modSuperb Serana and Seraphina - Serana CBBESupreme StormsSyglja ImprovedTemptress RaceThe Skyrim Distance Overhaul BetaTreesHD Skyrim VariationTTS Lydia Unofficial Dawnguard PatchUnofficial Dragonborn PatchUnofficial Hearthfire PatchUnofficial Skyrim PatchVivid Landscapes Dungeons and RuinsVivid Landscapes Tundra Moss RevisedWatercolor for ENB and Realistic water TwoWell placed weapons and quiversWet and coldXP32 Maximum Skeleton Thanks and sorry for my english, if I made any mistakes. it's not my native language
Jannifer
Wolf, your English is excellent, so no need to apologize for it. :) The facegen data which stores your character's appearance is stored in the saved game, so disabling the bald head mod wouldn't necessarily fix your problem. You have a nice looking character, by the way. If you use NMM to install your mods, it will give you the date and time a mod was installed so that you can sort out the last few mods installed. If you switch out of category view by using the bottom button on the left hand side of the NMM window, you can click "Install Date" at the top of that column in the mod list to sort by date rather than the mod name. I don't use Mod Organizer, but I would think that it would have a similar feature. I would try uninstalling and reinstalling the bald head mod to see if there are some textures that got misplaced somewhere along the way. It's also possible that the mod file is simply a bit corrupted, so you could try redownloading and reinstalling. Are you using an invisible helmet mod? That might also cause issues, so you might try uninstalling that and installing a mod which removes the helmet requirement from the matching armor perk. I use this one -- http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12580/? Looking at your load order, I can't see a specific problem. I use quite a few of the same mods you do with no issue. However, you are using a lot of high-res texture mods, which I don't use. My rig simply won't run them. In any case, good luck sorting out your issue. :)
Wolf609
Thank you. I uninstalled all the mods, but it didn't work out. The bug appears even with the vanilla bald hair. I'm not using any invisible helmet mod. I reinstalled Skyrim, i reinstalled the mods, piece by piece etc. The bug lies in a mod, because when I was halfway through them, the head was okay. I'm a very perseverent guy but I tried this all day, so I'll give it a rest now. I'll set him up with Gerard Butler's hair from 300, so it's a win situation, after all. I'll look for Isran, to check out if he has the head the same way I do, though. Thank you very much for your support and dedication. Have a great day ! TheObstinateNoviceSmith
Hey there Wolf, First off, I agree with Jannifer that your character looks nice. Secondly, I don't know for sure what is causing your issue, but I am curious, have you tried disabling Custom Races and seeing if that fixes the issue, perhaps in a new game? Like I said, I don't know for sure but that would be my first (and only) guess at this point.
Wolf609
Well, I tried to do that with a savegame and it didn't work. I tried to do it with a new game and it crashed to desktop. I'll reinstall the game once again, mod by mod, to see what was causing the issue. I'll post the solution here so if there are other guys with this problem, they may benefit from it. Thank you very much !
TheObstinateNoviceSmith
If disabling it caused an automatic crash to desktop then it is likely that another mod (or esp) was still active that relied on it in some way. Perhaps you disabled an esm when the mod actually also has an ESP. Usually, running TES5Edit would be good at locating the issue in that situation. Good luck to you though and I hope you're able to find the source of this issue so you can get back to enjoying your game.
Wolf609
I managed to solve it. After several days of continuos installs/reinstalls of the game, I managed. And now I feel stupid. It was a corrupted save. I guess it had something to do with the Custom Races mod, though. I backed up a few saves and the problem is gone, now.http://postimg.org/image/e2wu7cfrr/http://postimg.org/image/x302boxuz/ I hope this will help anyone who will encounter the same problem I did. Thanks a lot for your help, guys! I really appreciate it! Cheers! :D
TheObstinateNoviceSmith
Congratulations. I am glad you got it solved. So it was the Custom Races mod in some way after all? That is unfortunate. Well, at least the problem is gone now. And oh please. Never feel stupid when it comes to this stuff, lol. Seriously. Modding is complicated even when it isn't. )
