Abramul
The one computer game my dad plays is Conquer, an old DOS Risk clone. I would like to find a newer version of the same game, but all I seem to find are direct implementations of Risk, and some Command and Conquer game. The few useful details I can remember: 4 world powers: US, USSR, Common Market (CM), and OPECContinents are significantly more rectangular than normal I should be able to get over to the house in the next week or two, and could probably at least find who made it. However, as it is, I'm starting to get into the "Why did THIS come up?" realm. What, exactly, does "egor date mildred debit herbalism forging cribbage tripe" mean? Dark0ne
What, exactly, does "egor date mildred debit herbalism forging cribbage tripe" mean? It means spam filters won't pick it up if you put it in an email with a big "BUY VIAGRA NOW" image in the middle :P No idea about the game. Used to play loads of simple Risk clones when I was a wee tot, but I've long since felt so lost in life as to go back to DOS games... ;)
Vagrant0
Might have better luck here.<link removed> It's a forum for finding out what that damn game you used to play 10-20 years back was called. Best of all, it doesn't provide links to abandonware/warez sites, so I can suggest it here. As for finding that game legally, you usually have to search through e-bay. But occasionally the developer of the game is still selling it, or has released it as open source. There are also thrift and resale shops which some have had luck in. Correction, they used to have a strict policy of not linking to abandonware sites, but I guess they changed that. You can certainly google it though.
