Soapbombs
I'm looking to remove the BnB physics from ShadesXI armor, specifically the Daughters of Ares patch version. I fiddled around in blender fro a couple of hours to no avail. From what I can gather, I need to overwrite the current bone weights somehow. Anything I have done has just caused the textures to stretch into oblivion or the armor to disappear. Any help would be appreciated. DaemonGrin
Have you tried deleting the breast bones from the nif?
madmongo
I haven't looked at it, but I was under the impression that BnB uses a different skeleton. To switch from one to the other you are going to have to unparent the armor from the BnB skeleton, import a regular skeleton, parent the armor to that, then adjust all of the bone weights since Blender never seems to do that right (at least not for me). DaemonGrin
The Compatibility skeleton uses the same skeleton rigging as the vanilla just has added added bones you don't have to do anything but overwrite the skeleton but since the model has the breast bones if you use the vanilla skeleton.nif you will get stretched meshes. Deleting the breast bones from the armor should work.
Soapbombs
Alright, DaemonGrin's suggestion seems to have done the trick. I was getting an error on the export from blender about the value being out of range, but I used the export settings that the BnB pdf used and it came out fine. I'll add you both to the credits on the upload, as a couple of other people were asking for a non BnB version. Thanks for the help!
