Clipping, other issues on character

I had to reinstall Oblivion and reinstall the mods I wanted. After doing so and getting things running again, I started a new game, and noticed a problem. I took off the cuffs you have as a prisoner, and then I noticed that the hands are separated from the arms by a small gap. This is there in the F1 menu and when playing. I took off the prisoner shirt, and then the problem went away, but the pants and character model have clipping. Take off the pants and then the legs and feet disconnect. These are not too big of a deal, but it is real annoying when you want things to be normal. Before I reinstalled the games and the mods, I never came across this problem (IIRC, I didn't come across this problem).

I run Windows 7. I reinstalled the game, but didn't put it into program files because I wasn't getting the mods to work under that for some reason. So I set up the file location as C:/Bethesda Softworks/Oblivion. I have the official Oblivion patch 1.2016 (something like that), and the unofficial Oblivion patch as well as the following mods: Beautiful people 2.7, TFF Races mod, and Improved Child Races 1.6 (which I have because it has the Mystic Elves, which I like). I followed the Improved Child Races mod guidelines found here: http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=oblivionmods.detail&id=3577. You need the first two mods I listed to be installed before the third one can be installed properly.

I know that when I installed those three mods, I was copying and pasting files into the Oblivion directory, or the data directory. Some of the meshes read as: "female foot" "female hand" "female arm" "female leg" (I'm playing a woman). I wonder if when I copy/pasted the files, something went awry. I dunno if something went wrong with the first mod listed, the second one, or the third one (if somethings copied and replaced files wrong in the first place). I might have a simple solution, but don't know how to go about it. If I just start guessing at which files to copy and paste, maybe I'll run into issues? I need some help. I had a pain in the neck time reinstalling Oblivion and then getting the mods to work again, so I'm being cautious.

Also, there is this from the link I gave (step 4):

"4. Chose which body mesh you would like to use from the 3 provided, and place the meshes file into your Data directory (again clicking yes when asked to overwrite)."

I picked one that seems like the one I want (had meshes for adult females) and copy/pasted it to the data directory. I wonder, do I just copy and paste certain material again, or do I remove the three mods and reinstall them again? I don't know how to remove mods and reinstall them without running into problems. Probably simple, but I'm not very good at these things.

Well, I gave lots of info because I figured with more info, people can help me better. I hope someone can help me with this issue.

Your problem is that the default clothing does not match with the body model that you have chosen. It's that simple. You need to wear armour or clothing designed for use with your choice of body model.

Oh, okay. Hopefully most armor and clothes will work with no problem. Thank you.
