And again, another CTD help request!

Hi and thank you to anyone that reads this! im fairly new to the modding community, however i have been playing and testing mods for long enough to know i need help.

after muuuuuuuch googling, reading, trial and error, i have decided to throw in the towel and ask for some help.

i am rather happy with the mods installed, but if i have to lose some, i will. i am well aware i cant have them all (damn you modding geniuses! i'm like a kid in a sweet shop), and have cut my list to what it is now.

im having CTD issues fairly frequently, i can go 30-40mins, but loading and playing on usually just works right away... until my next ctd.

i have cleaned the mods installed using TES5Edit and made merged patches, created wryebash patches, ran patchers, use only enboost and no enb presets, compressed textures to the maximum, and every other various .ini tweak i can find. i keep my graphics settings low as my machine isnt all powerful and i am at wits end!

any help would be appreciated!

Considering your hardware, I would get rid of Footprints (it can bloat the hell out of your saves) and maybe SFO, at least until you can upgrade your gpu. I've heard reports of Skyrim Immersive Creatures causing some people grief; though I've never used it so I can't say for certain.

thanks very much! i have followed as much as i can thats applicable. i think i just have to reduce alot of graphics settings and hope that i dont push skyrims engine too hard.

you can add a ton of mod if you want but you need a good frame for it too work just make sure you follow correctly the sheeson memory patch it will help a lot.

 

The major cause of CTD for me was some ENB file leftover in my skyrim folder I don't get CTD only really rarely and I usually know why it happen the guide did help me a lot but I wouldn't suggest you to install his mod and stuff just take the knowledge you need and mod it till it crash !

 

 

(then start all over again till it crash !)
