Game keeps freezing. Cant tell why.

the issue i have is that the game freezes. no matter where. it will just freeze, i can go a whole session without it freezing but sometimes it does it 2-3 times... or enough that its getting me annoyed.

i got 0 errors on loot, i reinstalled the game, using a different enb and started a new game.. idk whats happening.

my rig has a i5 4690k and a gtx 970 with 8gb of ram.

i already analyze ur load order and i have some suggestions for you.

 

1. you should deactive unofficial patch ect if u already have dlc like dragonborn or dawnguard, its actualy make the game heavier :nuke:, and try not to use enb, if still freezing download antifreeze from borish site(enb) i dont know the link just search in google not so hard :pinch:.

2.why u turn all the mods on :ohmy:?, dude u only can use 1 texture pack dlc at once, u active 3 of them, ofcourse its make ur pc lag,even alienware cant handle that things.

3.u have so many useless mods(double mods just diffrent name) :pinch:.

4.u should download "show racemenu precache killer" if u have prob with character making,dont forget to download skyui and skse, its very important mods nowsaday.

5.u have so many diffrent weather mods", active one mods only such as COT(climate of wablabalbla).

6.u need to rearange/resort ur load order,suggestions:

a.u need to put the mods that add weapon or amor on bottom of ur load order.

b.u need to put patch mod, like dlc on top of ur load order.

c.u need to put charracter making mods like charmaking extender just after the dlcs

d.u need to put weather effect on the last of ur load order, just before weapon and armor.

e.u need to put npc adding or place adding mods in the middle of ur load order.

ps*if try to look at parrent files for ur mods, u can find it in ur load order on NMM its said

i can handle the mods and enb, fps is not the problem. the lowest i go on fps is 50.

i let Loot do all my sorting.

the only weather mod i use is CoT anything else is to make the rainstorms or snowstorms more real, they all suppose to work together.

and w.e double mods you see are patches and updates.

well you should install skse download on since skyrim its self cant run many scripts at once,(well skse cant completely remove the freeze completely, its just decreasing freeze.

 

if u got delayed action, like when executing enemies, ur char is not moving instanly, or when u cast a spell the sounds got delayed. its mean the skyrim run many scripts at once and its need to complete it one by one. well if u use skse it will make skyrim run many scripts at once. and use skyui its necessary since its make ur skyrim looks better and minimize the ram consumption.

 

also try to use wyre bash, since u are using many mods at once . the detail is on site http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/1840/? for short its make ur mods to work each other.

well the procedure to use its self a bit confusing, but u will understant if u watch video on youtube.

 

another suggestion is tes5 clean on http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25859/? the function is almost same with the wyrebash but it have a function to use cleaning mods (well it doesnt mean to uninstall permanently rest detail on site)

 

if its doesnt help try to use skyrim antrifreeze patch on > http://enbdev.com/patch_tesskyrim_antifreeze_v0096.htm to download press the "V" (down button near the file name).

 

 

and can you tell me specifically the time you got freeze, exa: u got freeze when looting, or when entering place or dungeon, or u got freeze even u do nothing(well many of SP(skyrim player) got this same problem.

Wtf? You're telling him to remove the unofficial patches? And saying that the high resolution pack (which is in three parts) is three different textures? Have you even modded Skyrim before?

 

On to the helping: I notice you do have a lot of potentially resource-heavy overhaul mods, and a lot of script-heavy mods.

 

Script heavy mods:

rnd

frostfall

wet and cold (You are going to have to choose between mods that increase the amount of npcs and wet and cold. No matter what your computer can handle, the skyrim engine has limits.)

possibly clanking armor (it depends on how the mod creator built the mod)

 

Potentially resource heavy mods (note the potentially. I am not 100% on these):

realistic water

realistic ragdoll

skyrim flora overhhaul (if you have version 2)

multiple mods that do the same thing can also cause quite a drain.

 

Unstable combinations:

4 different city overhaul mods will almost guarantee a crash. I have etac, Dawn of Skyrim, and Jk's Skyrim. These all have compatibility patches for each other, but can still cause lag/freezing/crashing when put together.

3 different combat mods? That all appear to affect humanoids? You don't generally want more than 2 combat mods for the same people (I use ultimate combat and TK Combat)

2 different sound sets (sos and Fantasy). More than one will just be too much. Either they override each other (which can cause crashes) or there will be a cacophony of noises. choose a theme and stick to it.

multiple mods to edit character creation. at least get showracemenu precache killer (search it on google)

Where are you getting your information?

1. The unofficial patches are fine to use. You should be using the Skyrim Unofficial Patch as well as the unofficial patches for your DLCs.

2. There are 3 plugins for the hi-res texture pack because it comes in three parts. Most decent gaming computers from after 2010 can run them all just fine. They cover entirely different things, so there is no reason to not have them all activated.

3. What you consider useless might be something that the OP likes to have in their game. If they want to use it, they can. The OP says that they aren't actually doubles, and I'll take their word for it, since I'm not going to download the load order myself unless their problems persist.

4. The showracemenu precache killer is only really necessary if you are using mods that add a lot of hairstyles, haircolors, or other options to the race menu. It doesn't hurt to have it, though, so I'll actually agree that you should get it. You should be running SKSE, too. I personally don't use SkyUI, as it was broken by a recent SKSE update and I just prefer the vanilla UI in general. You don't really need it, but it is nice to be able to access MCM menus. You just have to weight the pros and cons and decide if it's right for you.

5. A lot of mods have support for COT. There is no reason why multiple climate mods cannot be used together, assuming they are compatible.

6. If you are using LOOT, there is no need to manually manage load order unless you are using something with a SKYPROC patcher.

i removed dawn and etac at one point and still got the freeze.

ok i removed whiterun trees, clanking armor. this time

i didnt have 3 combat mods at first, only had deadly and combat evolved and still got the freeze.

fantasy only replaces the music, not other sounds..loot finds no issues between fantasy and sos :confused:

i know i got enhanced character edit, which other mod do i have that edits character creation?

 

im already running skse btw

the freeze is random, i can be walking around in middle on nowhere and freeze, in the middle of a fight and freeze, bout to enter a town or already in and freeze.. there is no pattern that i can think of that causes it. they are all random
