Dilvish
When I browse these forums lately, my BitDefender antivirus finds suspect files and warns me about: Generic.JS.Obsq.9C7EC511Generic.XPL.ADODB.EE963834Trojan.JS.Downloader.ABNExploit.Win32.WMF-PFVetc.
Dark0ne
Does this happen on every page or only on specific pages, if specific pages, which pages? Thanks.
Dilvish
I have a link to the Elder Scrolls Source main page. I use the Forums link there. I got the warnings and suspect files when I opened your reply to my original post. I just realized that this doesn't happen when I'm logged in to the forums. It seems to happen only when I browse the forums without logging in.Sometimes I only log in if I want to post. If you're always logged in, you may not see a problem. Dark0ne
You were right, it was an iframe placed in an area only viewable when not logged in. I've taken measures to try and prevent this sort of code injection to the site but, unfortunately, it's a problem with the forum software. Thanks for your help. Dark0ne
I'm at home at the moment. Trying to find where the breach has happened but might not be fixed until this evening. This is only a weakness for people who are running IE6 or lower and are not logged in. Edit:/ Found the problem and removed it.
