Teabone3
Hi everyone, I've been modding for sometime you can find my mods over here. Mostly done work with Fallout 3 and Skyrim:http://www.nexusmods.com/games/users/9536957/?tb=mods&pUp=1 I've never really had too much problems when modding with the GECK or Creation Kit. But I've finally come across a roadblock that I just simply cant get past... let it seems so simple to do. I'm wondering how to change a creatures projectile item to use other projectiles. More important creatures that are usually melee only, I would like to give the ability to say "spit acid". I've changed the weapon list to embedded so they reference the list there and given them the embedded weapons and ammo in their inventory. I've also changed the Combat Style to use ranged only... but they still refuse to use projectiles. I've searched the net and nobody has actually created a working example of this. Just random people giving answers that sadly do not work as you would assume they would. If anyone with some good expert knowledge in GECK modding is able to help me out that would be wonderful. I am greatly concerned I'm bumping into something that may be hardcoded and not moddable.
DaemonGrin
The models for w/e creature you are trying to make use embedded weapons need the projectile node and everything involved setup in the creature skeleton I believe. Good luck,Geoff
Teabone3
Oh so it has to be set up in the NIF file? Ah that would explain it. Its done externally outside of the GECK.Thanks so much for this info Edited July 14, 2015 by Teabone3
