i own all those, but i dont tell people that i think either is better than the other. There are some games only on certain machines. Like uncharted is only on ps3 or Lost oddessy only on 360. But i dont mindreally. i rent games so if i like it i buy it. I also own a gaming pc.

But i am not rich, it took me months to come up with the money to own these. I got 360 for christmas the 1 that just went. But i paid for half of it. I got ps3 a year back on my birthday, again i paid for half. PC my nan gave me money for it. So not only rich people get these machines. Also i dont own a lot of ps3, 360 games. But i mostly tend to borrow or rent. i rarely buy

I always tend to be in the middle of these aruments too. But both consoles have good things about them and bad things too. But i look past them and look at game quality only

I enjoy all systems (PC comes first, but even the old NES gets dusted off once in a while  ) I find that I simply have to ignore people when on the internet, because it truly isn't worth the time or stress dealing with people. Even the elitism that comes with certain computers annoys me. Everything has a purpose, some computers are heavy duty rigs, some are for business, some meant to fit into smaller spaces, and some are just purchased if someone has to buy one and doesn't want to spend a bomb, and it can easily fit all of their needs. I really can't stand people making fun of others possessions, everyone saves up, and for someone to step on all their hard work upsets me.

Consoles are good for console exclusive games, computers are good for getting those older/exclusive and mod ready games, indie games and non console exclusive games. I do enjoy my xbox for games like Red Dead, Bayonetta (my favourite console game  ), the new MK and arcade games, I liked my ps3 for uncharted (but than my ps3 broke before the PS3 had a lot of titles released) and even the wii has brawl, mad world, no more heroes (don't own a wii, but I like these games).

Now, my main problem is with big releases such as COD. I can't stand the game, and since I have a decent understanding of how games work and the possible potential they could have put into it but didn't really bugs me, especially since this has become the standard of games which is why so many shallow and boring games have been released recently (which is why I have recently been buying indie games, because they rock, and do not have to please the larger market). COD developers also based their online system on a boring pointless leveling system, and a kills-deaths ratio that shows up to everyone else forcing people to camp. I tried the game a while ago, but after about an hour I couldn't take it any more (not that I was doing bad, had a 4kd one match than a 3.77 the next). Team Fortress is the only online shooter for me at the moment, and I even feel that it slowly is decaying with the frequent releases of promotional content/unusuals and the online players virtual egos that develop when they have just gone through $1000 of keys for their hat, or gone and bought it online for like $400 (not exaggerating I have seen someone go through $1000 of gift items in a sitting, heard of people paying $2900 US for a golden wrench and hats going for over $750)

Anyways, I feel that you touched on some great topics which I also agree on HellsMaster, so I decided I would give my little rant also

I'll just leave this here.

I love it, lol. I am fairly sure the latest New England Journal of Medicine contains a study concerning the accuracy of this picture.

I managed to acquire a first gen none rrod 360 for 30$ plus controller and a 40gb HD. He tested it for 3hours straight so no over heating as far as i can tell. I rather be reassured then taking a risk and buying one new.

I couldn't refuse the offer, now i have both systems.

It works perfectly fine.http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/thumbsup.gifhttp://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/thumbsup.gif

Must get Fable 2http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/teehee.gifhttp://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/teehee.gif and dead rising, the original was so much better.

Also i have a wired usb 360 controller, will it work with it. Knowing there is a usb plug in the back???.

It comes with about 6 feet of cable, very long so length is not a issue.

My main gaming platform is the 360. I have access to a PS2, and a very old, crappy PC, but the 360 has the games I really want to play. (Except for the Resistance series...) I've played through FO3 and FONV many times, and I still enjoy them - but getting new content in the form of mods is what's driving me to save my pennies for a new gaming PC.

I've never understood the way people take sides on things, especially game consoles. Are they perfect? Heck no - but the one I have serves my purpose. Those with PS3s feel the same way, I'm sure. Consoles are a cost-effective means of being able to play the newest games. Yes, there are trade-offs - limited graphics capabilities for one, the inability to mod for another - but many gamers don't seem to mind this. For them, the convenience of consoles outweighs the investment in a tricked-out gaming PC. Until recently, I was among them.

Now, I want to get more value out of my games... and maybe even add a little to them with mods of my own.

Hello, I am agree with your recent post but some information is missing , God of War 3 is made be Sony so therefore it will only come out to the PS3. You would have to buy a PS3 next year, it comes out March, or wait till later and buy it after some time.

Thanks,
