TennesseeTuxedo
GECK noob here. I have to be missing some key point about how to control the GECK camera. With the mouse it moves bizarrely to the point of being an unusable method of control, it seems to just randomly rotate around a point and immediately gets crooked. But with the just the hotkeys alone it is so much work to put the cam where you need to look, for example to navmesh. So is it true the only cam keyboard controls are to allow rotation on y axis, z axis and pan front/back with the mouse wheel. Is there is no rotation on the x axis? no left to right panning? And the only up and down is to "drop" which means put the cam on the floor? So if you are doing a navmesh what is an efficient technique to move the cam around? DaemonGrin
Holding middle mouse wheel will let you pan left right up and down, if you click on a mesh or nav vert and press T that will place you in top view right above the target, holding shift down and moving the mouse angles the camera if you click on an object it will lock the cam to that spot so you can circle around it etc. And O button puts you in Orthographic view useful for navmeshing. Here's some other useful things http://geck.bethsoft.com/index.php?title=GECK_Keyboard_Mapping Hope that helps,Geoff
TennesseeTuxedo
The middle mouse wheel and orthographic view are a big help. Thanks!
lordzues40
You can also pan with the space bar
TennesseeTuxedo
Thank you didn't realize about the space bar either. I've been using all the kb shortcut lists but I don't thin they have these key functions on it.
