myrmaad Posted January 28, 2009 Share Posted January 28, 2009 Hey guys, I'm looking for some big bulky warrior armor, similar to this perhaps http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=21568 I like that armor a lot though it's not really my favorite color and I prefer armor with some reflections on it as well (I know there is another armor done by that same author that is very shiny but there is no male version and it's a bit to robot looking for me). If you guys can point me in the right direction that would rock What's your favorite color? Can you show me a picture of the reflective version that you like that A Type 2 made for his girls mod? AT2 is not only super talented, he's super-generous, and I'm sure he wouldn't mind if I made a retextured version. I like male armors and have a male character I made for my husband recently, so I'm hunting down good male armor all the time now, and so I would probably use it myself, if you point me to what you want, and if it's not beyond my abilities. It's really cool, but a bit out of place in Oblivion with it's almost futuristic style. Black/Dark blue or silver are my preferred colors for armor but things like Dark Red or Green have found their way into my collection. I'm a bit of a pack rat in game and I collect armors and weapons for my gallery, but I've been looking for a good one to wear for awhile. I'm currently using the first one I posted (brownish one) and I love the shape and feel of it but aside from the color of it, it just seems like some sort of light shine or reflection on certain parts would really top it off. My favorite armor was Dreadweave for awhile but of course my simple minded attraction to shiny things left it sitting in my gallery. There are so many great armors out there that could be even better with a light reflection map on them. I know a thread with a bunch of male armor links was just posted but most of them seemed tailored for men who wish they were women. Nothing suited for battle. The one you linked looks like a retex of True Ayleid Armors (or vice versa) which I was a fan of, but the author went and made everything reflective, even the cloth parts which seemed silly to me so now that sits in my gallery as well. I suppose it's fair to say I'm nit picking because AT2's armor is already awesome, a 10 if I ever saw one (that goes for Nico's too), but I'm a graphics angel and I love watching the sun and my surroundings play off my armor as I run through Cyrodil. The last L2 mod that was found and posted in this thread linked to a Chinese forum. That may not help you too much, but may give you an idea of where to look.
