Zero5906
Is there a mod where I could disenchant items without destroying the item? For example what I wanna do is...Disenchant the royal vampire armour and Nightinggale armour then enchant Nightinggale armour with vampire enchants? Is this possible? also is this a thing where I could overwrite enchants on items? Granted also I know really not much about mods, what could be possible or would be too difficult or take too long, etc.

catmandue
If you have this mod: Wintermyst - Enchantments of Skyrim , There is a ring that will allow you to use the Arcane Enchanter to learn the enchantment of an item without destroying the item. I was lucky enough to acquire this ring in a random chest and then, I don't know how, I lost it. I was very upset. So, I used TES5Edit to get the ID code for the most powerful version of the ring. This ring will allow you to get the enchantments of items up to a magnitude of 40, which is twice as powerful as the ring I found. After you install the Wintermyst mod, which is fantastic by the way, you can do a "player.additem" using the ID code of 140430C to get this ring. I hope this is helpful to you! .rob. P.S. TES5Edit is your best friend when it comes to finding the ID codes of everything obtainable in your game setup. It's great!

vaczkopeter96
What if I just want the ring mentioned above from wintermyst without all the extra enchantments the mod brings?

Swordsguy2010
Google "Skyrim path of sorcery mod" (it works better than the Nexus search bar) Path of sorcery adds a whole bunch of new perks to the magic perk trees, in the enchanting section theres a perk that prevents the item from being destroyed like you want, and has a mess of other perks you could and will find a good use for. Syddraf
Actually I re read you post and there are three mods you need. Disenchanting overhaul allows you to enchant any piece of armor with any armor enchantment.. Enchanting unleashed alows you to disenchant uniques and some daedric artifacts. The third mod is cleansing fonts alows removing and enchantment from an item allowing the item to be reenchanted. The perk from ordinator allows you to learn and enchantment without destroying the item, but the item still has the enchant on it. Hope this helps. If you need help with load order, and you have your load order catagorized, disenchanting overhaul and enchanting unleashed go into crafting mods as all it does is modify the enchanting table scripts., and cleansing fonts go into area edits at the bottom if this section, as it adds a new crafting station to numerous areas.
