Gradashy Posted February 28, 2011 Share Posted February 28, 2011 Well I'm trying to change the icon for this mod Torch Arrow, I made the icon with transparency and saved in DXTC3, however, when starting the game looks like the icon.http://uploadeimagem.com.br/out.php/i216_icon-2.jpgHere is the file that I made the icon.Icon DownloadIf someone can figure out what's wrong I'd appreciate it. slygothmog Posted February 28, 2011 Share Posted February 28, 2011 Not sure what you did there.....Did you give the Icon a UV map or a normal map? If so then that will mess it up.Best way to get transparency is to go over the image ( in Gimp ) with the erasor set at 10% Opacity as a test, then increase the Opacity till you get the desired result. Well, I do not have the plugin for PS (just could not make it work), so I used another program that converts the file in PSD to DDS. No doubt this was the problem. Thank you! Someone who knows how to work with the textures of Oblivion could open my file and see what I'm doing wrong? Look at my reply above and download the edited file.
