westoftherockies
:ermm: new vegas has no random encounters/events, the spawns are all static, no factions patrol the map really, ceasers legion is nowhere to be found, its hard to tell a war is going on. exploration in NV is non existent, the same 2 bark scorpions spawn in hidden valley every time you go by there, the map is too predictable and once you're about level 15 the game is too easy, new vegas deserves its 7.5 gamespot rating. its just very boring and predictable once you've played it a couple times, it just doesn't have much replay value. ita
played it a couple times Um, did you expect everything in the game world to be randomly regenerated every time you start a new game?

Daynox
new vegas has no random encounters/events, the spawns are all static, no factions patrol the map really, ceasers legion is nowhere to be found, its hard to tell a war is going on. exploration in NV is non existent, the same 2 bark scorpions spawn in hidden valley every time you go by there, the map is too predictable and once you're about level 15 the game is too easy, new vegas deserves its 7.5 gamespot rating. its just very boring and predictable once you've played it a couple times, it just doesn't have much replay value. um..ok, as of now i have 4 different characters on the go. All of them are totally different and play totally different. my first guy is level 45 (level cap remover) with 100% of the map discovered and now just hangs around the fort and farms (RTS and Farming mod) The last one i just made is a total drug addict/gambler....no fighting prowess what so ever and with the drug mods/better casino's mods im running he never leaves the strip...well only into freeside to pick up more drugs... i have over 240 hours ingame!....i run into the legion all the time, i play very hard hardcore and get my ass handed to me a lot....i run with increased spawns, and my own increased enemy health mod, lots to explore in the map and i have close to 50 new and different locations to explore and discover thanks to the great modders here! the weapon mods alone allow me to discover new and fun ways to kill people and beasties alike! want a new map to play? try one of the green world mods.... but if thats what you think of the game you can always uninstall it and stick it on a shelf! Bernt
Well said Daynox  And a big thank you to all you modders who make life so much more interesting to people like me, who can hardly tell a bit from a byte :whistling: I wish I coud give you all Kudos for your work and the time you put into it. But at least i try to give as much feedback as possible. As I think everybody should. If you download a mod and like it, at least endorse. We all need a pat on the shoulder now and then. Not the least when we've done a piece of -un paid- work.
grayiron
In my opinion, with all the mods available and the ability to mold our pc, the game can be pretty much what the player makes of it. When compared with other product out there I find NV to be both absorbing and entertaining. After all it is only a computer game; a diversion takes us to another world for a few hours. I believe I am getting value for my dollar.
