hitman7345
I just wanted to add that this fix did not work for me. I know it's not a load order issue as my game runs fine without ENB. I've tried using the most recent release of ENB as well as the injector version. I have a GTX 980 Ti. *edit* I'm an up and running after messing around with the memory settings. Apparently the settings I had used forever with Win 8.1 no longer worked with Win 10. Changing ExpandSystemMemoryX64 to false fixed it. Where do you find this? ironbender800
I have windows 10 and run ENB without issue. make sure you have all the needed direct X software and you should be good to go. I use EVGA precision which installs all the DX stuff. havent had a game crash yet on windows 10. really dont see what all the hate is about other than the privacy stuff which is annoying. I also use the latest Nvidia windows 10 specific driver. I like windows 10 so far and am happy to be upgraded to the latest OS. Only issue ive had which may or may not be windows 10 related is Mod Organizer download with manager wont work without manually registering the file. other than that all is good in the hood. Opperslang
Well I've got the same problem but with Fallout NV, I've tried everything here but nothing helps. Everytime I get a black screen and I hear the intro music. I can even press enter and load a save (I can hear by the sound) but I just can't get a screen :(If I remove the d3d9.dll fallout works fine but with ENB it just doesn't work...ENB in GTA V is running fine so I don't really understand what's the problem hereDoes anyone have any idea what could work? thanks in advance

But the DX files are the most important.

The weird thing is the first time I ran the ENB it worked then I quit the game and a few minutes later it just doesn't work.I've tried it without any mods so I know those aren't the problem. But is there any way to check if I have all the direct x files? zZParabellumZz
What worked for me was setting ExpandSystemMemoryX64 to false in enblocal under memory tab.
Amoryenar
I wanna let y'all know I've tried ALL of these, all of them I have no overlays running, I have disabled and removed the Xbox app, I've even disabled Cortana And. I'm. Still. Crashing. My graphics card is nothing fancy, in fact it's the same as my win 8.1 laptop and that one runs .279 without a single issue. I don't know what else to do. rmm200
My fix works every time, on all systems. Uninstall ENB. I play Skyrim a lot - and I don't miss ENB. It is not the reason I play the game.
SoloCreep
Windows 10 user here. I am using the latest NVidia drivers and GFE and my ENB is working. A few weeks ago I was having the same problems with my ENB. I had CTD's with certain ENB's and I would also get an error "shown below". I decided to stop trying other ENB's and stuck with Project ENB and then went from there. The solution for me was to remove 2 files from the ENB. I use Project ENB with ENB wrapper v0.279 Here is the error I was getting. If anyone else has this problem just do what I did. http://i.imgur.com/MafUNjX.pngSkyrim folderdxgi.dlldxgi.fx <-- after doing some reading, I guess its ok to leave this in. Here are a few SS's to show my ENB is working after removing 2 said files. thesystemwillfail
Had similiar issues with enb not working with win 10.After i first upgraded, all was good, enb and win 10 were fineA few months later, not fine I figured it wasn't win 10, cuz it had worked previouslyFinally got around to troubleshooting the other night, and what fixed it for me was going back to older nvidia drivers I'm on a 980ti and i'm wondering if the newer 900 series drivers are the problem here Be interesting to see how many people with 900 series cards have problems with win 10 and enb vs how many people with older cards
