A million times, thank you!

I've been a member of this community for two years now, and I've downloaded many mods over the last two years, but I've never properly said thank you.

I remember when I first picked up this game back in '06 for Xbox 360, how excited I was to finally play this game having waited for a year of previews and videos of Oblivion. I downloaded most of the major content patches released by Bethesda. Yet after 200 hours, I stopped playing. I lost interest. I had forgotten it. Two and a half years passed before I found this site, and when I did, it reinvigorated my desire to play this game.

You modders amaze me. Without all of you, this game would have died for me and so many others years ago when it was released it 2006. Through all your hard work and effort, you've made this game last me five years, with more years still to come.

At the risk of missing someone (which is likely to happen), I'd rather not name names, but to all the modders out there, your care and devotion to modding does not go unappreciated. Your work is not taken for granted. Your passion for modding is truly inspiring; you work so hard to make your mods. You pour your heart and soul into them. You strive to make them enjoyable to others, and yet you ask for nothing in return. I am ashamed to tell you all that I have nothing to give you in return, except my thanks.

To me, creativity, artistry, and generosity are the qualities that define all of you. Skyrim is nearly upon us, and I look forward more to what all of you can do with it, than the game itself.

To the site moderators and to the webmaster, you don't know me but I know of you. Buddha, AlienSlof, Bben46, LHammonds, Dark0ne. Thank you for keeping the site a clean environment, and your occasional humor.

To all the members of this community, I thank you for keeping it alive. Sharing the latest images from your adventures through Cyrodil is one of the many things that keeps bringing me back to this site.

And to Bethesda, thank you for one of the greatest fantasy series of all time, a saga that has transcended over a decade. Thank you for bringing all of us fans of fantasy together, and creating a growing community of over one million strong.
