latexyankee13
Can anyone confirm this is even possible? I need to run nvse for mods, but I have to skip the launcher so my ini tweaks will stick (given the launcher auto overwrites them everytime) so I can play in eyefinity. I've been pulling my hair out for 2 days. Please help and....thank you in advance

latexyankee13
Does not matter, the launcher overwrites every ini setting to default, every time

latexyankee13
Ok I understand thats the general consensus however: my hud settings will not change when editing the ini and displaying the launcher. there are people on widscreegaming that run then launcher THEN edit the default_ini while the launcher is open to adjust for eyefinity settings. This does not have any effect on me as well. I am not trying to argue, but trying to understand.
rickerhk
Thats 1.7 I have that Right. With 1.8, you can launch the game with nvse_loader.exe and it skips the Beth Launcher. The file Fonger is suggesting you edit is located here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\fallout new vegas\Fallout_default.ini Not the one in your documents folder. maboru
What about the falloutprefs found in the root directory right under the Steamapps folder, i.e.- \userdata\22380\remote\ autosave.fosfalloutprefsquicksave.fos (I use Win7 so there's usually no file extensions shown under "Name" but the fos's show. I don't know much about how Steam works though and was just wondering...)
