Sensual Walks causing lock up during title screens

I had this installed and working before and no problems getting it to run. Then I uninstalled all my mods to try and troubleshoot another problem. I have them all reloaded now, but when I try to activate Sensual walks the game freezes just after the Bethesda logo when all the fine print appears or earlier if I hit the space key. The longest I have waited for it to clear has been about 3 minutes. Tried configuring it differently i.e., only one walk animation, with and without unofficial patch support, but no luck. Tried running it at the bottom of load order. Used BOSS to order it. I don't have any other walk animation mods loaded. I'll be happy to post my load order if someone tells me how. Not sure what I have done different because it worked before. What will generally cause such an early lockup?

Here's a link to bben46's How to Post a Load Order. If it's a long list be sure to put a ["spoiler"] tag (without the quotes) before the start of the list and another ["/spoiler"] after (again without the quotation marks and don't forget the slash(/)).

BOSS put it there and I forgot to move it before posting the load order. I usually put it at the bottom manually. It still hangs up even when it is at the bottom though.

I have the same problem. I managed to fix it once by choosing for Configure Sensual Walks Unofficial Patches --> Disable. Strangely enough, if you de-activate the OMOD, activate it again with the patches, it worked as it should...

However, now I installed KCAS instead of nGCD and it hangs again. Still trying to fix this... Weird.

 

Trial and Error:

Using Wrye Bash, I switched off the esp's for vWalk. Then switched them on, and started Oblivion. Ended up with two esp's that when active, cause the freeze.

These are the Better Cities Imperial City Vwalk.esp and Better Cities Full Vwalk.esp

Your load list is all wrong. Make sure that you have the latest version of BOSS, and run it with the Update Masterlist option. Then rebuild your Bashed Patch according to this:

 

 

 

When you press 'Rebuild Patch', make sure that you check the following:

 

Merge Patches

Import ... [Go through each 'import' option and if there's a mod, not csv in the right window, check it, and the Import... option.]

Cobl Catalogs [ONLY if you use Cobl]

Contents Checker

Leveled Lists

Race Records

SEWorld Tests [ONLY if you have Shivering Isles installed]

 

The Globals and Tweaks are optional, but should not be checked unless you know what you are doing, and should be left alone while you are troubleshooting. Everything else should be left unchecked UNLESS you know that you need it.

Just on an additional note (since I had a proper BOSS load order and also had this issue):

 

I reinstalled the latest version of Better Cities (just new), then reinstalled the Sensual Walks. No problem now. Starts perfectly.

But reinstall th eproper way (clean save, see Better Cities readme).

I didn't realize that I didn't have the latest version of BOSS or even that it was a separate download. I had been using the version that came with Wrye Bash. That fixed the problem.:thumbsup:
