When I play the Pitt DLC, the Auto Axe and Steel Saw are appearing INSIDE the body of the NPC, as if they were a piece of clothing, rather than on the back as a piece of equipment. Any NPC with an auto axe or steel saw will have this problem, even if they have another weapon equipped at the time. I'm not sure what is causing this. It might be a problem with my load order, or it might be a bug that has a known fix. Regardless, any help would be appreciated. I'll post my load order here just in case that is the problem. I've used BOSS to order it, and I update the Master using FO3Edit every time I do anything to my load order. Thanks for the help. proconsu1 Posted March 11, 2011 Share Posted March 11, 2011 I am very far from an expert in this particular area, but it sounds to me like a problem with a custom body mesh from one of your mods. But since the only two offending items are both Pitt-specific additions, I would guess that you have stumbled into a minor compatibility problem with one of those body mods and the Pitt DLC. Don't have a clue how you would go about fixing it, though. A quick question, though: does the problem appear the same for both male and female NPCs? The thing that makes me wonder is that these two bodies are some of the most popular and widely used, and I searched thoroughly and didn't find anyone else post about this problem. I'm betting it is a mod that is conflicting, perhaps one of the Iron Sights mods, or perhaps something else. Obviously, I'm no expert either. proconsu1 Posted March 11, 2011 Share Posted March 11, 2011 Well, the holstered weapon appearing to be inside the NPC strongly suggests the body mesh is not agreeing with the weapon mesh on where the two should meet. That could indeed be a result of a mod that edits weapon meshes, particularly if such a mod has a Pitt-specific plugin....Perhaps this is what you should test next. I use Type 3 Female and Roberts Male (Texture fixes too) - But the only issue i get, if I use the Auto-Axe/Steel Axe attack, then the blade itself disappears. (Unresolved, but I never use melee anyway) Only time i used the Auto-Axe, was going through the Steel Mill area. Are you using all of the fixes that are from the mods above for the DLC?
