  1. That load order is even more screwed up than the old one. If you used BOSS to sort that order, then you need to make it update its masterlist and then rerun the sort. Also, you should re-enable this component: Mart's Mutant Mod - FWE Master Release.esp. And you still haven't deactivated those MMM components I mentioned in step 1 above. Edit: and you still haven't made merged patch with FO3edit.
  2. You need to check the readme files more carefully to avoid things like these: 1. The readme file for the FOIP compatibility patch for MMM-FWE clearly says that you must deactivate these components, since they are integrated in FWE: Natural Selection, Tougher Traders and Zones Respawn. 2. The readme for FWE tells you to pick one and ONLY one from each of these pairs: Optional VATS Halftime - OR - Optional VATS Realtime ;; Optional Restore Tracers (automatics only) - OR - Optional Restore Tracers. For example, you either want to restore tracers for all weapons, or you want to restore them for automatics only, so pick one and kill the other. The same for VATS, since you obviously cannot have it running at both halftime and realtime simultaneously. 3. The readme for the FOIP tells you how to set your load order. For example, it tells you that weather mods should be loading at the bottom of your load order. To fix this I recommend you just get and install BOSS, and run that to sort your order for you. When you have fixed those installation errors, try to deactivating these components: EVE - FWE Master Release.esp EVE - FWE Master Release (Follower Enhanced).esp EVE Anchorage - FWE DLC Anchorage.esp After you have done all that, you should then get and run FO3edit to make a merged patch. Then test the game and let us know how it went.
  3. Try disabling the mods, load back to a save from before you entered the simulation, then make a new save. Load that new save and see if the problem recurs.
  4. We need your actual load order. Recommend you export it from FOMM to a text file, and then copy and paste the contents of the text files to a reply here.
  5. Sounds like your volume levels are messed up in the ini.
  6. For starters, your load order is a bit messed up. I recommend you get and install BOSS and use it to sort your load order. Pay particular attention to the list of notes it will generate based on your mod list. Also, I'd recommend killing the unofficial patch; it tends to cause more problems than it fixes when you try to run it concurrent with overhaul mods - and since you have 4 overhauls running that UOP is a problem magnet.
  7. Installing software, particularly games, into the \\programfiles\ tree on Win7 or Vista is always a bad idea, as it puts you afoul of the UAC (Big Brother for Windows). As for your particular issue, did you have archive invalidation enabled in FOMM? If you have it enabled there and also activate the mod Archive Invalidation Invalidated, the two fix modes are going to collide and cause problems. I recommend just using the FOMM method - you can check it under the Tools menu in FOMM.
  8. Just sidestep the issue by using FOMM instead.
  9. CCMech, you do realize those posts you are replying to are over a year old, right? I seriously doubt those dudes are tracking this thread any more.
  10. If you look at the RH_Ironsights page here on the Nexus, Rogue Hallow included some links at the bottom of the description page - the first link there is exactly what you are after.
  11. Tsk, tsk...didn't read the readme files. (You and about 99% of the rest of the world  ) You need to deactivate these three components: Mart's Mutant Mod - Zones Respawn.esp Mart's Mutant Mod - Tougher Traders.esp Mart's Mutant Mod - Natural Selection.esp And for this pairing, you need to select one only and kill the other. FO3 Wanderers Edition - Optional Restore Tracers.esp --OR-- FO3 Wanderers Edition - Optional Restore Tracers (automatics only).esp And this plugin is wrong - FO3 Wanderers Edition - Followers Enhanced.esp; you should be using the Broken Steel version of this plugin instead of this one. And if none of those things get your menu to appear, then try killing these three plugins, cuz I have seen these cause this very problem for some people: EVE - FWE Master Release.esp EVE - FWE Master Release (Follower Enhanced).esp EVE Anchorage - FWE DLC Anchorage.esp Once you get the menu to appear and can get into the game ok, then quit back out, resort your load order using either FOMM or BOSS, and then make a merged patch using either FO3edit or Wrye Flash. (Lemme know if you need more info on any of those utilities.) Good luck!
  12. Need your load order. The no menu thing is usually a result of a mod or mods you have installed, but to narrow it down we need to see the whole list and the order in which in they are loading. Best way to post it is to export it from FOMM to a text file and then copy and paste the contents of the text file.
  13. When not near a workbench you cannot repair anything beyond 75% of its max condition. Repair parts are just substitutes for having another item of the same type to use for spares, so they do not have any effect on how much you can repair anything.
  14. Need to know your load order, what texture and mesh mods you might have installed that are NOT listed in your load order, and what kind of customizing of your own you have done to that weapon and/or its mesh/texture. Also need to know if that is the only weapon affected.
  15. Need more info. A LOT more info. Need system specs, need version of game, need to know if you have mods installed, and if so need their load order. It is hard to help if you just drop a general problem on us without telling us any of the circumstances.
  16. You oughta have BOSS update its masterlist. There is no way the latest masterlist would have put Xepha's so near the top of your load order. That merged patch had me fooled, though; you're the first person I have seen who gave a functional file name to their merged patch.
  17. Just a quick hitter here. These may not be causing your problem, but they need fixing just the same: 1. Your load order is jacked up. You need to get and install BOSS and use that to both sort your order and to get an annotated listing of your mods with alerts for incompatibilities and other issues. 2. You are running way WAY WAAAYYYY too many mods to not be using a merged patch. You can make a generic one with FO3Edit or a more robust (and more complicated) one with Wrye Flash. Just holler if you need help with either of those methods. 3. You should prolly kill the unofficial patch. It is known to be a bit buggy when running with multiple overhaul mods, and you are running 4 overhauls. That's what jumps right out at me. Will take a closer look in the morning when my eyes aren't burning and see if anything comes to mind.
  18. You might try scrubbing your save. Do this by deactivating all your mods AND the PL esm, loading your save, making a new save, quitting out, reactivating PL, then loading that new save, standing around until the script fires and the quest activates, making yet another new save, then quit out, reactivate the mods, rebuild the merged patch and proceed from that newest save. This is a small chance this might get the PL script to fire correctly, and still get keep all your mods in the mix (assuming that one has anything to do with the other).
  19. Hmmm, suddenly everyone is a necromancer. Odd... Anyway, Windows updates can always cause problems, since those updates introduce on average about 3 regression bugs for every 2 bugfixes they include. But that aside, video driver issues could be in play here, if an update activated a "feature" that is fixed by a new release of your video drivers. It would help if you could post your load order as well, plus any info you can still access about what updates installed themselves during the suspect time frame.
  20. Yes, but ONLY the esm, NOT the esps. Like I said, read the readme file for the rain component of Xepha's. It clearly says that the ONLY things it needs from Skingrad's EW are the esm and the resources (the meshes, textures, sounds). Those other esp files need to be deactivated or you are going to have scripts colliding between those two mods. For simple sorting, yes, although its a bit crash prone. But we also need to know what BOSS says about the compatibility and interoperability of those mods. FOMM can't do that.
  21. OK, where to start... 1. Load order: get, install and run BOSS to sort out your load order. Also very carefully read the annotated list of your mods which it will generate when you run it, looking for any notes on compatibility or other known issues. 2. Pick one and only one weather mod and kill the other ('til its mostly dead - read on). Running multiple weather mods at the same time is like a scripting version of demolition derby. If you choose to keep Xepha's, then you can (and should) also keep one and ONLY one component of Enhanced Weather, namely this piece: Enhanced Weather - Rain and Snow.esm. The rest of Enhanced Weather should be deactivated. If you keep Xepha's, though, don't uninstall Enhanced Weather - just deactivate it's esp files; Xepha's rain component needs the meshes, sounds and textures that Enhanced Weather installed, in addition to Enhanced Weather's esm file. If you are unsure what I mean here, then read the readme file that came with Xepha's rain component. 3. Running that many mods without a merged patch it's a miracle your computer hasn't exploded. Get and install FO3Edit, and use it to make a basic merged patch. If you need help with this, lemme know.
  22. Need some info here, dude. Start with what mod you are talking about, what items you expect to see but don't, and if you would, export your load order from FOMM and then cut and paste it here so we can see what all is going on there.
