Tang Mo/Mang'Chu

Hey everybody! I just recently starrted playing morrowind again when I happened across this mod from westly called the Mang'Chu. It's a subspecies of thee Tang Mo (not sure how lore friendly it is but it looks awesome!)

I'm wondering how possible is it to make a race based on this mod. And if it's possible at all, is there anybody that would want to do it?

I think this would be an awesome mod for skyrim and I hope somebody out there feels the same. I know the creation kit fairly well (kinda fairly well lol) so I can give some support if necessary.

Thanks for hearing me out

If you can get someone to make the meshes...

Original MOrrowind mod, only link I could find. http://www.tesvskyrim.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=2599

Note that the description says:

DO NOT UPLOAD/REUPLOAD OR REDISTRIBUTE THIS MOD ON OTHER MOD OR
FILESHARING SITES :) .

Already close to what you might be looking for:

Good luck!

Thanks for the quick reply! Yeah, if I could make the meshes myself I would totally do it, alas I have no skill for it. I just wanted to see if any of the very talented modders on the nexus would be up to making the mod based off of the look of Westly's morrowind mod. I wouldn't want to use any of the original assets without permission.

Thanks for the links to the alternatives, I've used the both. The problem is that they are both not being updated anymore, one crashes the game, and the other has no female version :(

Hopefully this will peak somebody's interest :)

I'm not sure why you would need new meshes. You could just use the khajiit tail and normal body, since they aren't digitigrade or anything. Actually, if you look into some of the Dagi-Raht races, you'll even have textures to use. Then you'd just have to remove the khajiit ears and add normal ears.

I agree that using the normal body meshes would work fine. Even using a regular base head might be fine (maybe a Breton). the main issue is the face. The noses on the Westly mod are one of my favorite things about it, and to date I haven't really seen a good ape/monkey like one. I think if we can get the nose right, then like you said, there are already plenty of fur textures in game to use.

Orc noses could pass for primate, I think. Maybe mix orc nose morphs with redguard nose morphs to make a wider, scrunched-up nose.
