amah52
I am currently working on trying to get all of the mods for f.o.i.p to run but I am stuck. I set up my load order just like the site tells me to and even save the merged patch successfullybut then I cant find the patch anywhere. I looked in the main fallout3 directory, in data.So then i try to merge the files again and use the same name as before and fo3edit tells me thatthere is already a file with the same name and that I have to make another name. The patch isn't showing up in fomm either so i'm sure it isnt in my load order. Is there some folder that i'm supposed to be looking in or a step ive been missing?Or maybe an alternative method to merge my mods together? proconsu1
It sounds like FO3edit was not installed correctly, relative to your folder structure. I would try uninstalling and reinstalling it from scratch. Actually, that is what I recommend for you to try; what I would try is kicking FO3edit to the curb and using Wrye Flash instead. But that's a whole different story... :whistling:
sandvichman
I have the same problem, no idea on how to fix. :(
davidmount
I have my patch, just trying to figure out whether to fix it or leave it alone. Opening Bash Patch - used WryeFlash, I see conflicts and that the BashPatch overrides them. Have tried leaving it alone and fixing the conflicts, still very unstable, or ctd at startup, or won't bring up start menu, just plays FO3 intro song and start menu slide. quicksilverva
in your data folder, the second toolbar from the top (the one where you can change list views), should be a folder called "compatability files", or something of that nature. take a peek in there and see if it got placed there for some odd reason
Jeoshua
Nevermind I didn't realize what exactly was being discussed until I had already posted unhelpful advice. Move along, nothing to see here. Edited July 9, 2011 by Jeoshua
