NPCs using fists instead of weapons... HELP!

Hi all

Been carefully modding my FO3 game w/ FWE + ENB and all that jazz... Left the starter vault and walked towards Megaton where Stockholm (the sniper) no longer had his gun and was only armed with his fists. I decided to kill him to check his inventory and he definitely had weapons + ammo on him... What's causing NPCs to not use their weapons?

Go back to the Paradox Ignition mod page and read the instructions for using the Mart's Mutant Mod.

 

Hi M48A5, thank you for the response!

 

However, I'm still having problems even when using the Paradox Ignition versions of MMM, etc.

 

I've tried everything I can think of - not using the Unofficial patch, using a merged patch, a bashed patch... Only when I deactivate Blackened does Stockholm appear with a gun that he can attack with. Otherwise, he stands there with his fists. When I look at his inventory, he does have a plasma rifle but the wrong type of ammo (energy cell)...

 

Any thoughts?

Override your current Blackened patch with this one: http://www.filedropper.com/blackenedfwemmmeveprojectbeauty

 

Basically just changed the ammo requirement for the NPC version of the pulse rifle stockholm uses to microfusion cells.

Not sure if the change is instant btw. You may need to wait for a couple days in some indoor cell to give allow his inventory to update. Could also just try resetting Stockholm.

 

I've deleted your posts about this in the Blackened thread btw. No need for multiple threads for this.
