mindboggles
I've just noticed after I was about to copy my latest version of an esp that I'm working on to the folder that I archive from that nearly all my esp modified dates have been set to 1/1/08???? The creation dates are intact so now apparently I have files that have been last modified before they were created? It seems to be the only folder that this has happened to, don't know what to think of it. Could it be a virus or Win 7 doing something strange? MotoSxorpio
IIRC, FOMM and Wrye Bash both timestamp esps and bsas to make them load properly. If you Sync your game thru steam, borked.Run FOMM and Wrye, get your timestamp on.
mindboggles
I actually don't use either of them and I always keep offline from steam, such a weird issue esp's that I've worked on only yesterday are showing modified dates of 1/1/08. Googling isn't bringing any answers either other than some people have had the issue with a few folders (completely unrelated to modding).
BlackRampage
The timestamps are used to determine load order. Fallout 3 does the same thing. Just ignore it. For example, a plugin which resides all the way at the top your load order will have a modified data of to 1-1-2008 0:00 or something close to it. In that case the next plugin will be 1-1-2008 0:01. Et Cetera...
