agerweb
I have a master file containing a worldspace with a plugin file dependent on it as a master. My question is - Is it safe to change the name of the worldspace and the filename of the master and then reassign that as a master for the plugin dependent on it? ie. newworld.esm becomes shumerworld.esm and remove newworld.esm as a master of shumer.esp and replace with shumerworld.esm
BlackRampage
Load both masters + the plugin in Tes5Edit. Head for the file header of the plugin (shumer.esp) and change the name of the master's filename entry from newworld.esm to shumerworld.esm. Then close & save Tes5Edit. See screenshot in the spoiler for an example. http://s28.postimg.org/flsqp4mp9/TES5_Edit.jpg
zilav
Keep in mind that LOD files depend on worldspace name too, you will need to rename them if you have any.
agerweb
Thanks for that - I will have to redo the LOD anyway on the newly named master so that will take care of the names.
