Repzik
Title says it all. Could anyone port Triss' outfit from the Witcher 2 as an outfit for her in TW3, replacing dlc or default? Thanks if anyone can.
thisisweak
I Imagine this might be rather difficult to just "port" the model over. The exported Witcher 3 models contain a lot of information required for animation and the like. Here is a screen of the outliner in Maya that just shows a fraction of the nodes in the model. They arn't joints, but are some sort of reference that I beleive is used for animation. I have not found any character animations or how to extract them yet so I am far from an expert on this. If anyone knows what all this gook is please let me know. http://i62.tinypic.com/2s63brr.png
thisisweak
Now that I think about it, (until we know more) one's best bet would probably be to edit the model preserving the locations of all the nodes and then retexture it. Being that there are 3 different versions of Triss's armor, (Low, Med, and High resolution) I do not think this would work out well.
cachudo
No progress has been made with this? Maybe just change the texture of the outfit with TW2 armor would be good enough. The colors and design were so much better..Someone have an idea how to do this?
thisisweak
I found some joints...progress has been made...but it is slow.http://i.imgur.com/HdFa7gE.png Edited August 26, 2015 by thisisweak
cachudo
ok .. at least the project still's going on. Sadly, I dunno a bit of w3 modding to help at all, but i'll try to read something about it..
Mushashi7
I don't know if it helps, but there have been some mods for Skyrim: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/searchresults/?src_order=1&src_sort=0&src_view=1&src_tab=1&src_name=Triss&src_language=0&src_cat=54&src_showadult=1&page=1&pUp=

PaulMcGann
Unfortunately, it doesn't help. Skyrim's Creation Kit modding tool is galaxies better than Modkit. I've been trying to force Raven's Armor from TW2 into TW3 since Modkit came out. No luck so far. The way they did everything is just completely different and unique. Doesn't work well with modding. Plus, it would really help if we had a functional modding tool.
thisisweak
Progress on skeletons...Or at least joints. http://i.imgur.com/LO0fVvp.png Just gotta figure out how to re-import so the Witcher 3 game understands it.
