chaosgunrunner
So I saw this mod for making Nova a Prostitute and thought, "sounds great!" (link to it: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8570 ) I installed FOMM, then FOSE, and tried to start FOSE up though FOMM. I recieved a message with the fallowing... "The ordinal 5360 could not be lovated in the dynamic link library xlive.dll "Any ideas of how to remedy this shinanigans before I come down upon my monitor with the axe I've procured from the garage? Thanks
proconsu1
Sounds like your installation of FOSE might not have been done correctly. It should have disabled Live. Have you tried running directly from the FOSE loader in your Fallout 3 directory?
chaosgunrunner
WELL, I didn't have live before the issue, SO... as to the idea of using the Loader to launch, first it gave me some bunk about not having the newest fallout patch, which then I downloaded, and then the error appeared when I tried it. proconsu1
WELL, I didn't have live before the issue, SO... You cannot have Fallout 3 and NOT have Live. They come bundled together, and installing FO3 also installs Live, if you didn't already have Live installed. Xlive.dll is a Games for Windows Live file, so it is definitely a Live-related issue one way or the other. Edit: you might wanna download and install the latest version of Live. It might be that FOSE is crashing out while trying to disable your current version of Live, but it might have more luck with an up to date version. chaosgunrunner
Man, this is getting awkward....WELL. You CAN have Fallout 3 and not live. Is possible. I'll find this xlive.dll if it is and report back if I mess up and the whole thing explodes.
