Fallout 3 CTD (diffirent mods)

Well. i've got to skip that. because all mods that I've running are already deep within the core of my save file (at least if the saving works the same as morrowind). meaning that removing certain mods is one hell of a job, or makes me lose all my stuff. (underground hide-out and fallout reborn are the most importand).

I've forgot to note that it seems like FO3edit and FOMM arn't signorising properly.

I'll see if I can fix that. since that's probobly the main cause of trubble.

 

and I'll keep updating here what I discovered and stuff.

If FO3edit is insisting on misinterpreting your load order and then building a merged patch based on the wrong load order, then maybe you need to just kick FO3edit to the curb and try Wrye Flash instead.

 

Get and install these two files: Wrye Python 03a and Wrye Flash in that order. You should also take a look at and bookmark the online user manual.

 

Since you already have experience with Wrye for Morrowind I will forbear with a long screed on how to make a bashed patch, unless and until you need help with it. Just say the word if you do.

I just installed wrye Flash...

 

sounds dump, but what do I have to do?

 

I mean like, do I have to make all mods a ESM? or make a merged patch? or something?

because the readme is fine, but not really helpfull (as far as I know!) on getting started from my pov...

Good news and bad news...

the good news is that I have made the patch thing. have't tested it out yet. am stuck in the pitt (doing the quest).

other good news is that FO3edit finaly loads Anchorage in the right order, so I can finaly use FO3edit correctly.

 

the bad news however is that it still doesn't show any other mod than the DLC's...

I just tested ZETA with the batched patch file thingy... and it still crashes as soon as the loading of the Cell after being beamed up is done...

 

I haven't tested Broken Steal, but it's probobly death too. and The Pitt and Point Lookout work fine btw. soon I'll test anchorach.

I've just tested ZETA again. and it works :D. I get beamed up, get that alian thing cutscene, and when I end up in the holding cells, nothing happens.

there is nobody else.

my screen is 'froze', using the command 'enableplayercontrols' fixes that.

 

so... anyone any Idea?

 

oh, and I think that the object that was messing a lot up (for ZETA and the Pitt, cause Broken steel still doesn't work...)

was my 'sonic screwdriver' from the fallout who mod... when I stored it somewere and got beamed up it worked fine...

lots has happened, and I suddenly discovered the following:

 

FO3Edit only sees installed mods. (that's the hypothese anyway)

couse I resantly installed the assins mod and it suddenly showed it the list.

 

if anyone understands what's going on, or what I've done wrong or so, let me know.

Amazing news.

 

I've got Broken steel working now!

 

and becouse I ain't like other dim-wits, I'll explain the error:

 

it's all about this piece of mods:

[X] f3rv8_broken_steel.esp

[X] f3rv8_point_lookout.esp

[X] fallout3_reborn_v8.esp

[X] f3rv8_anchorage.esp

[X] f3rv8_pitt.esp

 

now, isn't that strange?

 

[X] f3rv8_broken_steel.esp = Mod DLC support

[X] f3rv8_point_lookout.esp = Mod DLC support

[X] fallout3_reborn_v8.esp = Main mod <------------ Look at that people! damn, that (including me) nobody noticed that!

[X] f3rv8_anchorage.esp = Mod DLC support

[X] f3rv8_pitt.esp = Mod DLC support

 

now I got these files fine and properly on the bottum of my list :P. Other mods work fine now to!

 

[X] fallout3_reborn_v8.esp

[X] f3rv8_broken_steel.esp

[X] f3rv8_point_lookout.esp

[X] f3rv8_anchorage.esp

[X] f3rv8_pitt.esp

 

word of advice for other problem havers:

if you got a big mod with mod addons for the DLC's, be sure they are in the correct order.

and don't feed the Yao Guai , that's all :)

 

but still thanks for anyone who tried to help me!

 

now I need to find that woman I need the beat up in Zeta, she seems to have run off to god knows where... maybe I shouldn' have brought my army of sentry bots? a SAW and some other heavy ordinace. *drools when thinking about the fun moments with a fatboy*

(When I start Zeta, I end up in the holding cell. but there is no-one there. A video on Youtube showde me there should be another person there. but none is there...)

I also got a problem im trying to get Ghosts in the machine work witch is making my fallout crash i completed The Last Child Of Gallifrey I got Zeta PointLookOut and ThePitt But i dont seem to have FOW - The Last Child of Gallifrey v2 - clean MASTER FILE.esm if any one knows how to get this please pm me thanks.
