rulerkelso
Hello, im new in the Morrowind modding community, and i have a several questions, about which i already read, but i need to be sure:)1. Im going to implement mods "creatures XI" and "advanced economy", both which need to merge leveled lists. When using Wrye Mash. Just I need to select all my installed mods (inc.original .esm files) and then import single merge list? or for every mod that need merged list make a separated "leveled list file"?2. My next question is about "cleaning" the mods. Do i need to worry about cleaning, when im planning to start a new game? or this issue only affect already saved game? When yes, which utility is best and easy to use for this issue?3. Im very confused about "LOAD ORDER" of installed mods. I already read many topics about it, but im still unsure, which order to choose. Is there somewhere some "mould pattern" or list of most playable mods and their suggested order against each other? Thanks in advance for Your answers .... and sorry for my crude english :D
Dragon32
1 - Copy "mashed lists.esp" into your Data Files folder. Right-click on it in Wrye Mash to update it for your loaded mods. That's it. Make sure you re-build the ESP after changing your active mods. 2 - Cleaning mods is pretty worthwhile for everyone, IMO. Cleaning removes "dirty" edits. Those are entries in a mod which are exact duplicates of an entry in a Bethesda ESM file. If the mod with "dirty" edits loads after a mod which intentionally changes those entries then the intentional changes are lost. Best, IMO, is tes3cmd, however it's a command-lnie application. If you want a GUI then use TESTool. Make sure you don't either click the Just Fix It button or use the "Merged Dialogue.esp" plugin it generates. In TESTool's options make sure both "Restricted Dialog Cleaning" and "Restricted Cell Cleaning" are enabled. 3 - For load order, use mlox
rulerkelso
aha, thanks. I decided to use TESTool to clean some dirty references and cells. I hope it does not do any havoc in some plugins, in which there are some scripts or settings set.
hollaajith
I suggest you clean with both TES3cmd and TESTool. The redundant AMBI and WGHT entries are not cleaned by TESTool but only by TES3cmd and sometimes certain dirty edits are caught by TESTool and not by TES3cmd.
