Mataleon
Hi people. Have a big problem here and I'd appreciate some help if possible. I got the Fallout 3 GECK program to do some modding, and it worked fine first time around. I didn't tinker with it or anything, just made sure it was working ok. However next time I booted up the computer, and ran the program... BAM no render window. I searched all the options and tabs, got to the view tab and saw render window was unticked. So I click on it and absolutely nothing happens. It doesent tick render window when I click on it, and no render window appears. I've uninstalled GECK and reinstalled it, still no dice. And can't find a solution on the net anywhere. Anyone know what to do? Please help!!

proconsu1
What is your installation path? And have you tried running it as an administrator?
Mataleon
C:/programfiles/steam/steamapps/common/fallout3 /fallout And yes I ran it as admin.
proconsu1
That seems like an extra folder layer. The GECK executable should have installed to the same folder where Fallout3.exe is located, which on a steam installation should be: C:/programfiles/steam/steamapps/common/fallout3
Mataleon
Sorry I added in that extra folder by mistake in that last post, it was actually in the correct folder at C:/programfiles/steam/steamapps/common/fallout3
proconsu1
So let me see if I have this right. You launch the GECK, load up Fallout3.esm, create a new plugin, but then the render window won't come up and you cannot enable it manually. Is that right? Mataleon
That is correct.
